Help with the Dec 7 release date thingy.

Mmo-champion makes my brain hurt. Anyway.. Question. Each expansion I grabbed it at midnight and when I got home (around 12:30 or 1:00am CST) I was able to install/play the new expansion. Now they're saying the expansion will be available 12:00am PST or which is 2:00am CST (my time).. is this correct? Even if we get the expansion on midnight our time we'll have to wait for midnight PST?

3:00 AM EST

I can't tell you the other times as I can't find my clock converter.

That would be 2AM CST, I think 1AM MST.

It gets released in Australia at 12:01am, and most of us have to wait 16-19 hours (4pm-7pm) before we can actually play. What's funnier, is that's practically the server-maintenance time so unless they're planning on skipping maintenance this Tues, we're only going to get a small handful of gaming hours. X3

So yeah, I believe you're correct.

I'm willing to bet they'll skip maintenance that morning.

The advantage to those of us living in mountain, central, and eastern time is that we can install ours early, so we'll be ready immediately when servers go up, instead of getting the game and driving home and installing for an hour and not getting first crack... if you like that sort of immediate launch rush. I do.

That'd be kinda frustrating if I was getting it on the 7th, seeing as I'd have to wait three hours.

Fortunately (or more like UNfortunately) I probably won't be playing Cata until Christmas anyway, seeing as it's going on the Present List because my mum is insistent on me not spending for fun during the month of December so she can buy it instead XD

If you live in Mumbai and play on a US server, you have to wait till 1:30PM in the Afternoon.

I might be off but I think if you live in the Chatham Islands (NZ) and play on a US server, you will have to wait until 9:45PM Tuesday Night

Granted only 650 people would be affected with that time, but its still something that should be reported.
