Best BM/MM cunning pet build?

This is what I'm running with right now for group dps cunning pet. The two point in lionhearted are basically floater points. I went with that instead of some of the others, because the less time my pet is stunned or feared the more time they'll be dps. For my last point, I'll put it in Mobility (if it is fixed) or Boar's Speed. Again because less time getting to mob more time dpsing. I also tend to micro-manage my pets and have them on passive in a lot of fights, so if I'm a little slow on pet target switch is is faster for them to turn around and run back.

I skipped all the skills that involved lower health or protecting my pet from damage for a few reasons. In a group situation, with mend pet and the healers I normally run with my pet will never be low on health. Also, there are very few effects from PvE mobs that will actually damage your pet in wrath. It may change in cata, but gone are the days of micro managing your pet to avoid aoe or positional damage like in BC. (Is it wrong that I miss that?) I also didn't bother with Carrion Feeder, because of the mend pet glyph and the simple fact that I like the action of tossing food to my pet and them eating it, especially since they added an animation and sound for it.


Now if I was soloing I'd spec it totally different.

Akycha, that's a BM spec though, if you want to play as MM/SV with a cunning pet you have to make some choices as there are more useful talents than you have pet talent points. My cunning pets spec for non-BM specs looks like this:

Just grab all the points that improve DPS, you'll have to sacrifice most movement/survivability talents due to the lack of talent points. Roar of Recovery is debateable, as it's on very long cooldown and doesn't restore a lot of focus, so that point could go to either Boar's Speed or Mobility instead. As Akycha said, Carrion Feeder isn't all that useful because of the minor end Pet Glyph, so it's a talent you can easily skip.

Not set in stone at the moment. I'll probably be moving the points out of Culling the Herd into Great Stamina since my chimaera will be spamming Froststorm Breath a lot.
The crucial talent for any soloing build is Grace of the Mantis. It allows you to solo bosses from old instances without worrying about your pet receiving a string of crits and dying.
For this reason, Cornered is actually not very useful at all. Since your pet is pretty much crit immune against bosses to begin with, all your pet will get if its health drops too low is a boost in damage output. I have 2 points in Cornered solely to get Bullheaded. That ability not only can serve as a nice panic button for your pet, but also prove very helpful in CC-heavy boss fights such as Princess Delrissa in H Magister's Terrace.
