Trinket Replacement

I was thinking of replacing my Darkmoon Card with Greatness Mark of Supremacy. The only thing is I don't need the hit at all. I just want it for it's controllable cooldown. I just got Whispering Fanged Skull last night in ICC which replaced Darkmoon Card: Death.

Honestly, if you don't need the hit, I'd say not to get it. I know there are better trinkets than DC:G out there, but you'd be wasting the static stats on the trinket (unless it'd free you up to gem/enchant differently or replace another item you've been holding on to for the hit).

Have you considered farming for the needle-encrusted scorpion? I know the ArPen isn't fantastic for SV, but the static crit is, and the ArPen would still be a better dps boost than hit, if you end up over hit cap.

If not, don't replace just yet. Yes its a 200level item, but it still works better than most things out there. I still have banner of victory as a marks hunter and probably will until DB's will drops.

Well we are still struggling on the 4th boss in ICC 10 man. I don't think we will be doing 25 man anytime soon. The needle-encrusted scorpion is nice. I've only seen it drop once maybe twice in Forge of souls. I'll run it today and see if it drops.
