Rise of the Shadows!

[Senna-Umbreon]

"Urgh.." Phantom groaned, looking up as Venin darted past him, "Right..!" He ran after her, panting heavily. Okay, note to self.. Don't ever try and take on those Dusk again.. "Dammit, wait for me!!" He called as he struggled to keep up with her.

[Moonlost]

((Turns out my insane mum decided that she didn't want to go down to her mother's place today. So I'm going to take this chance and catch my characters up.))

Venin stopped after turning a corner, waiting for the flareon to catch up with her. As soon as she saw Phantom wheeling arround, she melted into liquid and leapt at him, wrapping him in herself and starting to glow with a light blue light.

Venin used Aqua ring!

"Get going Fuzzball, I can't move myself while I'm healing ya!" She said, her voice distorted from her liquid form. "Take the sewers to screw them over if they try to track us via scent!"

((Side note: "Wrapping him in herself" sounds incredibly innuendo-like XD ))

Seventeen roared angrilly; she wanted to give chace and rip those damned eeveelutions appart, but her injuries still prevented her from doing much more than hobbling along. She turned her head to bark at Gamin, who nodded and gave chase.
The Mightyena lifted his nose to the sky as he bounded outside, sniffing to locate them. Venin was hard to track; she smelled almost exactly like water. The flareon was another matter, he was now covered in the coppery scent of blood. He howled before dashing off, his teeth bared in anticipation.

The small girl giggled at Jaw's reaction. "You're not so scary mister shark pokemon!" She exclaimed, continuing to pat Jaw's muzzle.

The other girl gasped up at Molly, surprised. "You can talk? Moma Bear can only growl, and Shyra doesn't talk with most people much asside from Lady Olga." She bounced about on her heels, happy to have made a friend.

The boy on Volt squeeled in delight at his new mount. A few oth the others chased the two, hoping to have their own turn playing with the fun fuzzy spider.

The child next to Julius blinked in surprise at the sudden appearance of fun tail thingies, before giggling and and tugging on them again. He stopped when the Ursaring moved over to him and grunted. He sulked for a bit, before moving over to the Mother Bear, who gently picked him up and rested him on her shoulders. "I'm sorry for him. He's just as bad as Clara over there." She said as she shot a glare at the little girl from before, who was failing at trying to sneakily shuffle over to Ghost again to touch her ears.

The adults, now certain that they were safe here, moved to sit or lay down and relax for a spell. Pokemon were released from their pokeballs to stretch and look around themselves. Olga, the leader of the group, stood up, her back creaking. Her Xatu close beside her, she moved over to Molly, bowing. "Please, let us know if we may aid your group in any way."

((*Gigglesnort* Doesn't help the fact that I think Phantom and Venin could make a cute couple XD))

Phantom skidded to a stop and blinked as Venin leapt at him, "The heck?!" He exclaimed, then sighed slightly, not exactly too keen on the idea of having to walk through the sewers, "... Okay.. Fine." He started walking again, heading towards what he hoped was the nearest entrance to the city's sewers. After a few moments, he spoke again, "Also.. Thanks for making sure I didn't get killed. Dying isn't exactly something I plan on doing anytime soon."

[Moonlost]

((You too? Kay, making this happen. XD Although I'm not sure our insane eeveelutions would appreciate being called cute.))

Venin shifted the G-Dusk needle about, trying to make herself more comfortable. "You think I'd just leave ya there to rot fuzzball?" She replied to him. "Despite what you may think, I don't absolutely hate your guts. Unlike Bitchectric, you let your kin go their own ways once they given the option. If she were in your place, she would have slaughtered them or forced them to comply. I respect you for that. Now hurry up. I think I heard the idiot pup howling, he'll probably be on us soon."

[Senna-Umbreon]

((Yaaaay! XD And yeah.. They'd probably maul us for th-- ... AAAGGHH NO NOT THE FACE!! *Gets mauled by Phantom*))

Phantom shrugged, "Heh, to be honest, for a bit I thought you were just going to sit there and let me die. Guess I was wrong, huh?" He paused and fell silent for a bit, "... To be honest.. I'm actually surprised I let my siblings leave.. Then again, Butterfly always tried to stop me from achieving my goal... So it's good to not have her nagging me all the time. And huh.. I've never really heard someone say they respect me for something." He admitted, flicking his tail and increasing his speed from a trot to a quick lope.


((... Also.. 'Bitchectric'. I SO love that XD))

[Moonlost]

"I had to wait for my chance," Venin would have grinned if her face wasn't entirely liquid. "If I moved too soon, or drew attention to myself, we wouldn't have our prize. And anyway, these wounds are nothing a little liquid Vaporeon can't cure... There. I think I see the enterance to the sewers. I hope your sense of smell is just as crap as mine is. "

[Senna-Umbreon]

"Heh, you're just lucky I'm stronger than most Flareons.. If I had been killed while you waited for your chance.. My spirit have haunted you to hell and back!" Phantom grinned, laughing slightly. His grin quickly turned to a scowl as they reached the sewer entrance, "Ugh, this place stinks and we're still outside! This is going to be rather unpleasent... Bah." He grumbled, then walked inside, "Okay yeah, I was right. It smells even worse in here.. Blegh."

[Moonlost]

Venin was immensely glad that, as a moving puddle of water, shee had no nose to smell with. Still, she could feel Phantom's body underneath her, feel it twitch as he tried to stop himself from gagging. She gathered it was not a pleasant scent. She moved herself, shifing so that she wouldn't mix with the filth arround her.
"Just think how those with better senses of smells than us are going to like it in here..." She muttered. "As for haunting me? I never knew you cared so much you didn't want to leave my side." She laughed.

Gamin grunted, he could smell one of those human sewers up ahead. Knowing Venin, she would have chosen to slink in there and hide, knowing full well that it would completely ruin his sense of smell. He turned, looking at any dusk that may have come along to the hunt. "Get in the sewers, search every hole until we find them!" He cried, looking arround for a nearby enterance.

((I feel a little sorry for the others, sneaking off and stealing some G-Dusk while they're asleep XD ))

[Senna-Umbreon]

"Th-that's not how I meant it!!!" Phantom spluttered, blushing, "I meant-- OH NEVERMIND!!! ... If you weren't water right now, I'd SO maul you for that." He grumbled, tail lashing. "Gah, this place is just horrible.." He said, abruptly changing the subject, "I'd hate to have that stupid mutt's sense of smell.. Ugh."

[Moonlost]

If she could, Venin would have been grinning from ear to ear. She moved her liquid form around his body, tickling his guard hairs as she did so. She stopped after a few seconds, remembering that now wasn't the time to tease the Flareon, what with rabid dusk after their blood. The darness was screwing with her sense of direction, she couldn't tell which way to go. Silently, she hoped Phantom did.

Gamin found himself gagging. He was not a fan of human smells, especially those emited from the filth down there. He moved in, every inch of his body rejecting the idea. Once inside, he tood a few seconds to retch up what little food was in his stomach before trotting forward, determined.

[Senna-Umbreon]

Phantom did the best he could to not blush as his pelt was tickled by the Vaporeon, sighing inwardly as she stopped. After a while, he stopped walking at an area where the sewer tunnel split into two, then looked around, "Err, any idea which way we should go?"

[Moonlost]

Venin groaned. Great, just what they needed
"Does it feel like the much is flowing faster down one more than the other? If so, maybe it'll lead to some sort of pipe out of here. Hopefully with some fresh water nearby urgh." Despite her best efforts, she hadn't been able to keep herself completely cleen of the muck, it was not a feeling she enjoyed.

[Senna-Umbreon]

"Mm.. That's worth a try I guess." Phantom replied, walking down one of the tunnels, then turning around and doing the same with the other, "This one seems a bit faster.. So let's try this way." He said, and continued walking down the tunnel, "I sure hope we find our way out of this place soon.. Ugh."

[Moonlost]

"You're not the only one Fuzzball..." Venin said, already sick of this dank hole. Phantom's wounds were mostly healed now, but she remained liquid and clinging to him. No sense having both of them trudging though this crap.

[Senna-Umbreon]

"Would you quit calling me fuzzball already?!" Phantom asked, slightly annoyed by the little nickname Venin had given him.

[Moonlost]

"Jeez, alright then. Have it your way Fuzzy serFuzzington." Venin said, barely containing a snicker.

Gamin darted though the sewers, ahead of the other chasing dusk despite his extreme dislike for the place. Each breath of air almost sent him gagging, but he was determined to track the two down. He wanted to be the first to sink his teeth into them once they were found, and to present Venin's head on a plattter to his alpha. Perhaps that would cheer her up.

He found himself at in intersection, he swiveled his head to and fro, trying to decide which way they must have gone down. With a growl, he started to lope along the left path, hoping his choice wasn't the wrong one.

[Senna-Umbreon]

((*Sings Jingle Bells* .. *Looks around* What? It's the first of December!! I'm allowed to sing songs like this now!!! ... I STILL want to have a Christmas side-story RP XD It'd be funny! *Imagines Ghost getting drunk off of alcoholic eggnog* .. Erm, scratch that. It'd be funny, but hazardous XD OH WELL!!!!! I still love the idea of 'How The Umbreon Stole Christmas', by the way! *Laughs*))

"Hah hah, that's oh-so-hilarious, I'm barely able to keep myself from laughing." Phantom replied sarcastically.

((Oh god, 'Fuzzy SerFuzzington' is absolutely hilarious if you actually say it out loud! XD))

((I suspect that we'll still get around to it... Hopefully. Maybe in it's own seperate topic? None the less, it'll be fun being silly with these characters for christmas.
Sidenote: Fuzzy serFuzzington is derived fron an injoke between me and my brother: Poncy serPoncington. Whenever we see a poncy character, or a character acting poncy, we put on a ridiculous, over the top brittish snobby accent and say something amazingly stupid and awesome with it. If I'm ever on Vent or some sort of voice chat, beware of Poncy serPoncington paying a visit... Or request for him if you are brave/suicidal enough XD

"You know you love it." Venin, once again, wished she could grin right about now. "... Hey, I have an idea to delay those Dusk idiots if they're following us. Would you happen to know Rock Smash at all?"

((Hee, that's what I was planning. I'll have to get around to maybe making a new thread for it.... I was even thinking we could even use dead/evil characters. Basically, for the Christmas side-story, we'll be half-throwing WoD and RotD story stuff out the window. Which means we can use ANY of our characters, even if they're dead or evil. Cause I'm sure there are some characters who are dead who would be awesome for a Christmas story.. Like.. Speck! And Sparky! XD And if not that idea, we could set the story a little while after RotS and include all the story elements and blah blah blah.. Though that could be hard seeing as we may not have an idea of who is going to die in the end of the story. Buuut I'm sure we can figure something out, cause including story stuff from this and WoD would be fun. And dead characters can still show up thanks to Giratina... XD
Also.. Inside jokes rule. Me and a few of my friends have about.. at LEAST 30 inside jokes just between the bunch of us XD

*Gets thwacked on the head by Phantom* OKAY OKAY I'M GETTING BACK TO THE RP!!))

Phantom grumbled, then blinked as Venin voiced her idea, "No.. But I do know SuperPower. Would that work instead?"

((You may be thinking a little too hard about how to keep things cannon with this Christmas tale. XD Just have it hosted in "Alternate Dimension X", where all the characters people want to play are still alive and obsessed with boxes wrapped with decorative paper. ))

"Yeah, that'll work. Go smash into the sides of this sewer, cave in the passageway. Hopefully it'll give us a little more time." Venin slid off Phantom at that, solidifying with the G-Dusk vial safely gripped with her tail. Her reformed nose caught whiff of the stench of the place, causig her to cough and gag.
