Rise of the Shadows!

Daray blinked before he took the bowl and looked at it. He picked up the spoon and began to stir, finding it oddly relaxing. Hey, he could do this.

(( Daray takes after me in a few ways..and I actually Enjoy baking, so he's quite content mixing a bowl of icing..just don't let him start licking the spoon, lol ))

((Why do I find the mental image of him licking an icing-covered spoon so amusing? ))

Molly grinned at him and nodded in satisfaction before turning to give Holly some assistance. She distractedly handed a damp cloth to Apple in an attempt to get him to clean up his messy face and paws.

[Azunara]

Cro peered into the cave, then hesitantly went in. He gave a shudder. That bad feeling was even worse. Like he shouldn't be here. He needed to find this stuff out though...

(( Because it's freaking hilarious. Big purple ghost trying to sneakily lick an icing covered spoon.. ))

Ciro followed Cro in silence, glancing around and blinking. He stayed quiet though, content in just watching his brother for now.

Apple stared at the cloth rather nreutral with what to do with it

Molly let out a little amused sigh and tried to help wipe Apple's chocolately mask off his face. "There. Now you finish up." She glanced up at the sound of a little beeping noise. She tipped her head a bit to the side and approached the oven. It beeped again and she peered in. Opening the door, she paused and then lifted her hands. The pan slid out and slowly levitated to the counter. Molly beamed and flicked the oven door closed as the delicious scent wafted through the room.

Apple buried his face in the clothtrying to wipe off as much as possible he looked up his face now abit damp thanks to the cloth

((Meh. Forums are slow. I wish they would live again.))

Solara looked at Soundwave, giving a last whine, before shaking her head. Something seemed to recoil and slink into silence in her head, and the Voices crowed in triumph. "Right. Let's go find ourselves a smoldereon, shall we?" They asked, and the telepatheon bared her teeth into a snarl, catching the scent and running. Anger and sorrow made her move faster, and the sun flared brightly as she gave some of her energy to it. She hissed, ignoring the fact she left the Dusk, the Dawn behind. All that mattered now was moving. Fighting. The damned smoldereon and his companion would be dead soon enough.

((It has been awful quiet the past few days, hasn't it?))

The dishes were done and Molly turned her attention back to the pan. She levitated it again and gingerly separated the cake from it. She set the two now separate pieces down and glanced at Daray. "How's it coming along?"

Julius stretched his stiff side with a wince. The camp was in sight now and he would be more than happy enough to get healed up.

((Has been. Mildly curious if everyone just got bored or are busy...We need to pick up the pace I guess. Dawn vs. Dusk battle coming any time soon, anybody? *shrugs.*))

Aurora had gone off to sleep at some point, but didn't sleep very long. She was still sad about her uncle, and about what happened to her mother. She shuddered, chasing away the nightmare she had and looked carefully outside the camp, whining. She then blinked, seeing something. Julius? She made her way as quick as she could over, scowling in frustration over her short, floppy limbs.

((I think all the new stuff in WoW might also have a part in it. All the shiny new race-class combos, revamped world, ect ect))

Julius perked up at the sight of the familiar little seal. "Aurora!" He called cheerfully.

[Azunara]

Aurora was still frustrated with her flippers, but brightened at the sound of Julius, "Hi! Are...you okay?"

[Kamalia]

Julius nodded with a half-hearted smile. "Just a run-in with some Dusk is all. I'll be fine, don't you worry." He nudged his snout under her until she was seated on his head. Going slightly cross-eyed trying to look at her, he gave her a goofy grin. "Off to the nearest healer! Oh, also these guys are Lyell and Maya. They're Hannibal and Stormie's teammates." He flicked his tails at the Daikenki and Shandera.

[Azunara]

Aurora grinned brightly, no longer slowed by her unwieldy appendages. She carefully raised one of them to wave at the new arrivals, grinning at them childishly.

[Senna-Umbreon]

I've just been asleep half the time (Woke up at 5 pm >.<) and everyone else has just been gone XD Oh yeah.. Feel totally free to ignore any mention of that Mebukijika I was having trouble with naming.. I've decided to use something else instead. ... I just need to figure out what that something else is.. Blah.))

Lyell grinned at Aurora. "Hello!!" He greeted the little Seel.

"Hi~!" Maya giggled, floating over to Aurora.

Aurora grinned at them, "I'm Aurora," She said in reply.

Solara continued running, trying to get the smell of Dawn out of her nose. She snarled, continuing to run like the entire Sunrise army was on her tail. It took her a few moments of rabid running to realize she wasn't even following the trail anymore. She was just moving. She frankly didn't even have an idea where she was. She slumped to the ground, starting to feel tired, and didn't even bother to use the sun for energy. The only good thing was it was quiet.

She hissed softly, trying to wrangle with her emotions. She didn't even know whether to be upset or not anymore. She just felt defeated.

[Lupis]

Buzzard tilted his head. Hmm. This looked like a delicate situation. The yanmega was probably a highly valued friend, and probably tried converting her... The idiot. He sighed, worrying to himself. Hopefully Sol realized that the Dusk was a tight-knit pack, not a gang of rabid, careless beasts like the Dawn always seemed to think.
Anyway, she obviously hadn't taken his advice to stay happy.
"I'm going to go see what's up," he told Gamin, and took flight, landing a few yards away from Solara. He waited, wondering if she would notice him.

[Senna-Umbreon]

"I'm bored here. I thought we were going to fight the Dusk!!" Pan complained, lashing his tail.

Ghost shot him a glare, "We'll fight them eventually! Jeez!!"

"We better."

"Pan.. You're still an idiot."

"... You're still annoying."

"And you're still a jerk."

"And so are you."

The two stuck their tongues out at each other.


Stormie poked Julius, "Come on, let's go find someone to heal you." She paused, "... It's times like these that I wish I was a Psychic type like I look. Then I could actually heal people."

((Seriously.. I thought that Kojondo was a Psychic type when I first saw it.. XD))

[Azunara]

Solara pricked her ears, leaping up and hissing out of instinct, then paused, realizing it wasn't a foe. She relaxed, returning to her lying down position. "Hi," She said, flicking her tail slowly.

[Lupis]

Buzzard waved his tail in return greeting. "Hey, Sol." He paused, trying to think of what to say and completely failing. Ah well... "What's wrong? You don't seem exactly thrilled.."
