The real question is, why aren't they minipets?

Snail models don't even have attack animation. Just FYI.

Could you be more specific? I know about the Armadillo pet from the guild vendor, but have not heard anything but rumours about the snail.

If a moth can do damage by smacking its enemies, I fail to see how a snail can't so the same.
What's with all the snail-hate? Dirty phylumists!

Cute doesn't need an explanation.

I know how would it possible, it just doesn't do it. If you somehow tamed a snail and got it to attack something, it would just stand there and somehow dish out damage - because there's no animation for it.
I still don't like the idea of a snail hunter pet. There's just nothing particularly interesting about snails. Turtles are at least tough despite being slow, but snails?

You have to admit that watching a puny snail beat up Doomwalker would be awesome.

If it just stood there and damage it by just looking at it... would be kinda hilarious.

I think they'd use the "Nevermind" spell amrasillias posted. I picture it acting the same way as what happened
to the Nazi in Indian Jones and the Last Crusade.

Go watch the most recent Naruto episode, he's fighting a giant snail/clam thing. Plenty of ways a snail could attack.
