Just got back from the day shift at work, and I was wrong! We are having a Midnight Release tonight afterall! Apparently my boss threatened to tell the Pointy-Haired District Manager's boss about his stupid business descision if he didn't let us open.

So I'll be heading back up to work at around 9:30-10ish. I'm not officially on the clock, but I'm sure I'll be drafted, at least for Tim Hortons runs. Plus, because I'm an employee, I don't have to stand out in the snow with everyone else. I can sit nice and toasty warm behind the counter.

Yup, I live in SoCal too I'm actually not too far from Blizz HQ and where they've held Blizzcon every year XD So of course it's only right I participate in the midnight launches.

I'm just really glad I live in Cali, cause I dunno how some people deal with standing in snow and whatnot for their games o_o I couldn't do that (I don't handle cold well!)

Hrm...won't be doing a midnight release. Actually, I won't even be getting Cataclysm until December 25th....XD

But then,

I was serious when I said that the Shattering patch really was the expansion for me. Other than a shale spider and some rares I'm not going to see for ages, I've already got everything I want.

Prettymuch applies to me too. Granted, I definitely will give worgens and goblins and the new zones a test-run when I get my copy, but I have enough new content to toy with until Christmas rolls around. Not having the expansion won't drive me nuts like it did with Wrath (I got it quite a bit after the release because my original comp couldn't handle it).

And guys, Russia. Dun whine about it being cold. It's apparently not so bad today, but yesterday was -11C (12F) during the sunny day. So, at night it would be maybe... -17C (1F) or at least feel like it with Jack Frost nipping at your nose, your throat, your hands, your feet and maybe possibly your brain? I know I can't think when I'm standing outside. It's that cold. @@; Today it's only -5 (22) and snowing! Yey.

I'm going to be on the lookout for gamers at school skipping today. XD;
