I am disappointed he doesn't seem to have normal walk-run-swim animations like the regular and "cerberus" core-hound models - instead, he just speed-walks everywhere, which looks really awkward in Vash'jir. I hope they fix that.

Not really a fancy story for me. Never been a fan of core hounds at all, did some half arsed attempt to get to BWL to tame him just "because". Couldnt find groups so didn't bother with it. Then the night before expansion some guildies wanted achievement and I went to get him tamed. Just "because".
We invite a couple of randoms too and we move out. The instance goes well, when we are at Chromaggus I instruct the rest to stay put while I tame. Of course one of the randoms have to go look and aggros just seconds before my tame finish. I regain aggro but dies o n the second attempt and panic as they start attack him. Luckily my guildies knew I was there for the tame and run, they all die pretty soon. We run back, we didn't have a rogue to start with so suppression room takes ages, but finally back at his room the randoms had learned their lesson and stay back. I run up, hit tame and few seconds later he's mine and within second I LOVE him to bits!
He is my new main pet, perhaps something new from Cataclysm will be used from time to time but from what I've seen on Petopia nothing feels this right! It's funny, usually I tame the rares because they are rare and then don't really use them, this time I hadn't even planned to tame and ended up completely in love.
