No. Not anymore. Trying to camp for Skoll broke me. It broke me hard. Staying up for 16 hours+ per day for 3/4 days- crying when I never found even a body just drove me over the edge. Yes I want- but it's not worth my sanity. Northrend broke me for camping for rares like that. It's just NOT worth my health for pixels.Azunara wrote:I find it funny you guys argue how they stay up hours to get this server first...Yet anyone of us will do the same to get a shiny rare pet. It all boils down to its the same number of pixels. They get achy, you get shiny pet.
It's funny that you bring it up. So tell me, how is a sparkle pig gaining advantage over someone without a sparkle pig? If you have any retired pet you are also an exploiter- why? Because you exploited the fact that Blizzard flagged the Basin ghost trio as beasts, and tameable. If you have Grimtotem wolf, again. Or oil wolf. And then you mention exploits. Funny, really. Don't some of your special pets require exploits as well? You know, oil-stained wolf, flame pig, etc? They aren't meant to have them, yet you manage them anyway. Neither break the game, so it's okay.
BUT WAIT! Are these pets adversely affecting the playtime as others? Did they help you advance in the game in any way shape or form? Do they give you more speed, more power, more gold, more anything? If the answer is no no no and no- as we're not talking about the dmg buff pets.
And you can't honestly believe that putting in about 15 minutes of worth/taming 50 or so creatures is really the same as CHEATING the game for an ACHIVEMENT? Can you? I mean any hunter can obtain the sparkle pets, they're not something you have to hack or expicitly cheat for.
Well evidently you see sparkle pets as the same as cheating so I really can't help you there. So yeah. I dunno, but...You're not that different.
There's 'having a bit of harmless fun'- IE sparkle pets.
Then there's 'I'm going to break the game for my own enjoyment/empowerment'.
So yeah there is a difference, Azunara.
If Op got his/her achieve Legit, why should he/she be bothered by the real naysayers that didn't wanna put forth the effort? There's nothing wrong in taking pride in your real effort. So long as it's not unhealthily so. But you seem to be grouping the ones who hate the REAL CHEATERS [wether or not we even wanted the achieve or not] and grouping us up with the ones who say, are just QQing to QQ.
