So I have been doing circles with NPC Scan running and an old macro.. Still no spawn. It's been atleast 14-15 hours since his last sighting... =\

He stealths and phases out temporarily, so be careful. His long timer might have to do with his unkillable nature.

You think he may have a 24 hour respawn timer, instead of a 6-12 like the rest?

When I got him last night with the help of a druid friend, he phases out quite often and when he reappears, he's about 30-80 yards ahead of where you last saw him. I'm glad I got him because I can see this being a tough camp.

Yeah, I've been out here since I got out of work last night... When I logged on when I got home. He was cached, I was farming before I left for work last night with him not being cached or seen. So I'm thinking he spawned while I was gone, and now I have yet to see him and I've been waiting and moving for about 15-16 hours.. Now the thing that I'm confused about is whether or not his spawn timer reset due to the server resets. Or is he going to keep going off of the old timer and spawn within the 24 hours... I'm gonna assume that's what his respawn timer is, or else I would have seen him by now.

I tamed him about an hour and a half ago on Aggramar EU. I hit 85 yesterday at 2200 and ran to the Abyssal Depths and searched. After about 2 hours, a belf dk showed and whispered me that he had been tamed 3hrs ago. I never know when to trust what people say about the spawn and taming times. But I left anyway because I was completely exhausted after the long grind to 85. This morning I raced to the computer at 9am and went straight to the reef and camped while searching around the southern tip and watching my husband's run through Halls of Origination. I looked back at my screen and saw the yellow dot on my map. NPC scan goes off and I target him, but before I could push tame he phased. I waited and searched around the small area a few seconds and he respawned. Targetted him at max distance and he was mine. I have absolutely no haste on this quest reward gear, and his nerfbat stacks (I have 100k hp) but if you tame at max distance you should be alright. I wish I could figure out how to post screenshots.
