Taia tipped her head slightly. The kitty made a good point. She glanced up and blinked at Confusion. Another evolved Pokémon, it seemed. She felt another twinge of jealously, even though she thought Confusion looked quite odd.

((Everyone has been eaten up by Cata, so I'm just going to sign off for lack of anything better to do. Sleep or something. Yay.))

It didn't take long for Sol to put two and two together, and she gave a quiet hiss to herself. Flares of pain from Soundwave's direction...Confusion in a fight...She made sure not to say anything, especially because it hadn't been confirmed. She shook her head. She had to focus on other things before she went insane.

((Completely eaten by Cata, sorry. My worgen priest is awesome, though. x.x))

Carrion shrugged. "I might get one soon too. I've never been very good at fighting, though. That's Buzzard's forte. And Vulture, my other brother, he's such a lone wolf I haven't seen him in days." He flicked his tail at Buzzard. "But yes, three evolutions is possible. We don't know the limit, there might not even be one!"

Buzzard gave Sol a sympathetic look. She was very troubled recently. Then he turned his head to Confusion, waving his tail in greeting. "Hey there, Confusion. Haven't seen you in a while, I was wondering where you had gone."

"I had to go do an errand for thunder once again..that zerbra is hopeless" confusion snorted "Had to let the damned little pests get away alive to! I manged to give one of the a good scar though" she then responded to buzzard "heh, sorry about that bitchy zebra always needs me"
"I can hear everything you say y'know"
confusion ignored thunder "hey have any idea when insins is giving out more injections is really would like another evolution!"

((Sol is also ready for another whenever. She just doesn't say it because she's weird like that. >.>))

Solara blinked, shuddering with a hiss, but didn't add further comment. She noticed Buzzard's look, and gave a grin in reply that said, "I'm not that good, but I'll live! Trust me, no need to worry...much."

Chomp sat next to Rikki, deep in thought.

Genosect asked, "Would you like to see what flying is like?"

((Merrrrrrf, sorry for once again disappearing. I just feel oddly... Detached from the RP lately. Though that may just be 'cause pretty much everyone else has skedaddled to play Cata. ... There goes the little Christmas story, eh? We all gonna be too busy and by the time we're not it's probably gonna be.. Christmas and then we'll again have no time for it. Blagh. But yeah... Solara stretched, getting up and shaking herself. She was curious how the hunt for the smoldereon and his companion were. She briefly wished she could help with the hunt, but shrugged, watching and listening to the conversation of new evolutions. She wouldn't mind a new one, but there were still others to be involved. Still. It'd be nice to get a one-up on the smoldereon, and to be strong enough to eventually take on a legendary? She gave a mental grin.

((Edit again: D: Anyone? Anyone at all? Maybe we should set a day to start kicking things into action, because it's nearly been a week and this thread hasn't seen life in forever.

Or maybe I'm impatient.))

It was soon that petel woke up, fury glanced at the doe and snorted with distaste "Your going back to the useless zebra? she left you for nothing!" petel seemed quiet "I still.."

It wasn't long before dr.zyhne had enough of all her species of pokemon into the real wild, she was careful to put oh so few starters there

One of them, a fire type known as cusera manged to esape into the dusk camp, it had a bigish head with a stitched mouth and small horns, it had only two legs that were taloned a small volcano on it's back, it's tail ended in a devil's scythe and it had a small patch on it's, it sniffed at buzzard curiously

Buzzard blinked at Cusera. That thing looked... interesting. A bit strange. "Who're you?" he asked calmly.

Scarab exited the lab and approached the group. Seeing that Buzzard was busy, he addressed the other Dusk. "Sssolara, you and the new Dusssk will be getting new evolutionsss. Come to the lab as sssoon as posssible."

((I dunno if we should be forcing action into this thread. After all, RP is supposed to be fun. It's no fun feeling forced to come here and plod along when there's other things you'd rather be doing. The shiny new feeling of Cataclysm will wear off eventually.
With that said, I dunno if I'll be around much these next few weeks. I have a number of christmas projects I need to finish up. In addition my brother finally has a new computer, I'm taking advantage of this to get some long-awaited play time with him.))

"Only man eating?" Venin said, returning the chuckle. "Well us Pokemon should be fine then."
No sooner than she said that than a thony vine lashed out. She jumped back barely dodging the vine, which left a deep gash in the earth where she had been standing mere moments before. A strange clicking noise echoed around the two Eeveelutions, the vines now writhing in an almost frenzied manner. They surrounded the two in a moving, green dome of plants. The "heart" of the plant detatched itself from the floor, rising slowly but steadily upwards while multiple thorny vines snaked their way fromt eh sides of the walls toward the two.

Venin hissed, backing up to stand up next to Phantom. "I guess I spoke to soon." She said, trying to hide the frightened quiver in her voice. "What's the plan?"

Seventeen slowed her pace, sniffing about. The scent of the two eeveelutiosn was faint here. It was hard to tell which direction they left. No doubt a precaution on her former subordinate's part. She pawed at the ground as she moved; an instinctive reflex.
Gamin approached, head high as he looked around the area. He saw no tracks, no signs other than the smell that the two had been here. He suddenly became unconfortably aware that the two were alone. Something had been on his mind for a while, something he wanted to clear up...
"Hey Seventeen..." He said in a harsh whisper, feeling awkward and thick tongued. "Uh, about earlier... At the lab,"
The Voltectric raised her head to look at him, then trotted over. Her body language was that of Alpha; her head and tail held high, her movements sure. Gemin whined, he knew his place in the pack, he shouldn't have stepped over it. He rolled over onto his back, flipping his head back to expose his neck. He expected to feel teeth nipping at him, reminding him who was in charge of the pack.
Instead, he felt a warm tongue licking at his jaw and a paw gently resting on his chest. He turned in surprise to see Seventeen staring at him steadily, before nuzzling him again. She whined soflty.
Gamin lay there, frozen with surprise, before carefully returning the lick. It felt strange, he had always been the omega of the Hounds. This, although nice, would take some time to get used to.

Insins sat in his new lab, tinkering further with a seperate strain of Dusk. He carefully placed a droplet of the inky black mixture atop a smearing of blood, sliding it under a microsope. Peering into it, he saw the tiny specs of the virus slide into the red cells, infusing it. Mutating it. The cells becan to move with added vitality, added strength... Before bursting appart, ripping to shreds in front of his eyes.
Insins cursed, thumping his fist on a nearby desk. No matter what he tinkered with, the results were still the same. He sighed, running his hands though his hair. There had to be some trick to it, some tiny detail in he was missing...
A yellow hand carefully placed a cup of tea in front of him, before resting on his shoulder. He turned to Psychosis, nodding his thanks slowly as he grabbed the cup and brought it to his cracked lips. He supposed the Kabutops would want his Army soon, he could hear the pokemon chittering in the background. He had enough G-Dusk for a hundred now, that should please him.

((Eh. True. I'm just impatient. Kind of a characteristic of me.))

Solara looked at Cursera warily, head tilted. It didn't seem hostile, so she let it live for now. Solara pricked her ears at Scarab's announcement, and shook herself, getting up. At least this time she knew what to expect, pain-wise. The Voices quietly murmured in her mind, debating one thing or another. She had learned to let them be, and they helped her when she needed help. They were great for conflict at least. She shook her paws, getting feeling into them and looked up at the sky, gauging how soon it would be till night. Finally, she made her way to the lab.

"I'm what they call a cursera..... I think at least, yeah!" cursera looked at buzzard "And you are.."

((Ohlook, people are actually posting! Yay! ... Speaking of posting, I should post the pictures I just finished drawing... *Stares at her hand, which has gone 'ABANDON SHIP!!!!' and fled, due to how sore it is* ..... >.<;;;))

"Well shit...." Phantom growled, staring up at the massive plant. "Err... I could just try and burn it down like the rest of the thorns... That'll stop it. ... Hopefully." He said, glancing down at Venin, wrapping one of his tails around her.

((*looks at thread in shock* It lives?! Though I can understand why it died down so much... Cata is ridiculously fun. Also, Goblins are officially my favorite race EVER.))

Taia's head raised at the Kabutop's words. She studied him for a moment and the way the other Dusk acted around him before hesitatingly starting forward to the lab, her ears tilted slightly backward at the dark doorway.

Scarab looked to Confusion. "You will be evolved again as well."
He headed back to the lab.

Buzzard looked down at Cusera. "I'm a Charaptor. I've never seen something like you before.. Where are you from?"

[Moonlost]

Venin opened her mouth to fire an Ice Beam at an oncoming vine, freezing it in place before smashing it with her tail. "Go right ahead, it's gotta be better than just standing here!" She replied, firing another ice beam.
A vine streaked forward, moving to Phantom, writhing.

Confusion smiled then begain to run ahead scarab like a child, what will happen this time? gaining 5 more tails maybe 3 more heads oh she couldn't wait!

Solara followed quietly, preventing a look of distaste show. She didn't like that typhlosion. Not that it mattered. The stupid thing would probably fall quickly to the Dawn and Sunrise. She watched Confusion bound ahead, blinking.
