Ghostcrawler, phased area?

I have a question, because i just saw something that annoyed me.
Followed an other hunter to the area as soon as i entered it he phased out for me.
About 10 minutes later he comes out with ghostcrawler, while ive been going around that area for the last 3 days doing all nighters etc without even seeing him.
So could it be possible for me to be in a wrong phase to see him?

Don't know about your phasing issue, though i just had the luck some 3 min ago to tame GC, and if it helps i allso ran across Kolorath.
Don't belive it's a special mob though.

It would really help if i could have the npcscan id of ghostcrawler i cant find it anywhere.

His NPC ID is 50051, worked perfectly last night when I tamed him. I thought I saw a yellow dot on my map for a split second so I kept looking in that area next thing you know NPCScan goes off and Ghostcawler is mine.

The long version:
Last night/early this morning, I went to tame him and, as luck would have it, I found him. He was crawling around and just as I was about to tame him, he disappeared. I was perplexed, so went to WoWhead for answers and thought maybe he despawned. However, I didn't find any, but when I got back in a minute later, he had reappeared. So, I went to tame him again, and just as I was about to, he poofed again. At this point, I realized what was going on. It seems Ghostcrawler has an invisibility buff and will disappear at times, and reappear 10 to 20 seconds later a little ways from where he "poofed".

The short version:
Ghostcrawler is able to go invisible and will reappear 10 to 20 seconds later a little ways from where he "poofed".

Yeah just happened to me went to click tame and poof he went about 15 seconds later I see a yellow dot appear and then he was mine!!
