Hotfix fixed PetAbandon macro?

Hi I just had a question regarding the new tame trick we've been using... It seems the method no longer works... can anyone else confirm? I may be wrong too.

Update: It seems that for most people the /script PetAbandon() tame method has been fixed... it seems that pets instantly become your pets now, rather than with a flash of light as they did before...

Anyways sorry for people who missed out on a pet... but to those who got them in time.. enjoy your new retirees

UPDATE 2: Turns out its still doable afterall... dunno if timings more precise now or anything, but it definitely seems more difficult now

It would be easy to test. Just get a trash pet and type the line correctly... if the pet is abandoned then it still works.

Type it EXACTLY like that.

Still Works and it certainly isn't a New Trick I know several people including myself who have been using it for several years.

No- i know the macro isn't new... but the method to tame special appearances is... and I know how to type it and perform it and what not I tamed the first flaming boar tyvm... but to my attempts this pet abandon tame method seems to no longer work... So im thinking it was hotfixed somehow...
Also i noticed, even among regular tames, pets no longer go through the "2 part tame", meaning they no longer glow yellow upon being tamed... i think this might have something to do with the script not working to tame special appearences.

I haven't tried this method before but I can't get it to work on the lone hunter no matter how fast i spam the macro.

Worth noting that the original post has the name of the script wrong, which is probably why it's "not working."

and it turns out the glitch is still available after all... timing just seems more difficult now.

Well with hotfixes and rolling restarts almost every day, you better go tame them now if you really want them. No tears if they remove this and you waited..
