The moment I dinged 81, I began a 2-day, obsessive Terrorpene camp, and finally tamed him at 2am, after 8 straight hours of camping on day 2. He's my hunter's best friend, having been my leveling pet through 85, and recently having tanked a solo Karazhan run just for fun. His name is Turrask, and he's a B.A.
So in the wake of that mind-numbing pet camping endeavor, I wasn't sure how I'd be able to stay sane doing the same for Sambas, only over a much larger spawn/patrol area. But I knew one thing: I wanted this lion.
I logged in this morning, 15 minutes before server reset, and just decided to hop on over to Twilight Highlands to look for him.
And then it happened. Drums and horns started playing, and the lion model started spinning. NPCScan had detected this beautiful lion somewhere nearby. I panicked and frantically clicked the target button, looking around for where he might be. Finally I saw him and haphazardly landed right in front of him. I hit Tame Beast.
After mending him to full happiness, I went to Stormwind and logged out before the server shutdown. Didn't want to risk losing my new friend to a reboot bug or something.
So the question is: What should I name this beautiful animal? My old ghost saber was named Shiro, but I gave that name to my Loque'nahak already (and Sambas isn't the right color for such a name).
