Need your advise, Hunters :)

Hi,

I'm leveling a hunter, ( DUH!!! ) and, wondering if I should get a Defensive talent build for me and my gorilla pet ( like, Armor, Dodge, HP ) or if I should get a dps cat, and get a build that would boost my dps, and my pets dps

Dunno if I explained this very well, but anyways, I wish I made it understandable:)

It really depends on your playstyle. Some hunters swear by a tenacity/defensive pet for leveling and it works just fine. Me personally, I prefer dps pets (like the cat) while leveling. I like burning through mobs quick. If it's dead really fast, it can't hit you

But why not explore both? You can have more than one pet; try both styles and see what you like. In some cases (soloing big monsters/elites) a tenacity/defense pet might be better, and in some cases burning through mobs fast would probably be better.

I prefer a Ferocity or Cunning pet until you can get the talent Thunderstomp. Once I have that, I switch to a bear anddo something called an AoE farm, basically I volley seven mobs to death, while the pet keeps aggro on them.
