My Lv 81 Terrorpene tame. =)

Hey long time lurker, first time poster here. Well first off my rogue (dont hate lol) has been my main for many years so he was the first to 85 but you could almost say I have 2 mains as I put a great deal of time into my hunter also. =) Ok now down to business. I took my rogue to Terrorpenes spawn and camped, stealthed, on a small rock that was in about the middle of his path. I hadn't been there very long and tabbed to login to Facebook lol, and then BAM NPC scan went off and I about soiled myself! I got that rush for the first time since I found Loque last Dec. So I logged onto my hunter with a whopping 32,525 hp...yeah I was scared. Haha... with about 16% haste from gear, no special haste stacking reforging, I popped a prismatic elixir, ancient hysteria, dismiss pet, and hit my deterrence/ tame macro...My hp was going down fast despite resisting a lot thanks to the elixir. I honestly thought I was dead but with 909 hp left he came over and stood by my side. =) It took me awhile to recover accept the fact that he was really mine, also just like Loqe. It's a rare but addicting feeling I must say.
Oh btw my hunters name is Calvîn and yes I do have a tiger named Hobbes. After years I recently had to upgrade him to the new model in Sholazar though. Haha

Grats buddy. I am jealous. I (lvl 83) camped all day yesterday and he finally spawned at 5pm straight up on Rexxar US. He punched me right in the face, dead. In the 8 seconds it took for me to get back to my body an 85 Troll had him tamed. I was soooo disappointed. Not knowing what the spawn timer really is I came back at 6, 9 and 12 hours....have not seen him since. I am camping now right where I saw him before...a little more prepared. I was amazed how quick my 58k health went to zero. Ugh.

I have to say, even with a flask, armor enchants, drums, corehound and potion I am still feeling very uneasy with this tame....

Some day....I hope....

Congratulations!!! Don't worry, we won't hate on you haha. Okay, at least I won't hate on you! My main is a blood elf hunter now, but I also have 6 other 80s -- a troll druid, and then on another realm (my first realm that my hubby and I started on) I have a human pally, human priest, draenei shammy, draenei DK, and gnome mage. Haha. I miss them.

Grats Sobek. I really thought you were the rogue I saw camping for Terrorpene in our server. I remember trying for Terrorpene on Day 2, failed miserably, saw a rogue watching, then minutes later Terrorpene was gone.
