The one with the evolving drakonids? That one is one of the simplest ones if you get the timing right. Unlike some other timings, you even have some short margin of error.

Being sick on vacation.

Yesterday was the first day of Winter Break; two weeks of blissful school free nothingness. Two weeks. And the first day I spent it in a thera-flu drug induced sleepy state because I had a fever, threw up once, and had nausea. And of course, cramps and headache because it just HAS to be that time of the month. Just to make my life that much more hellish.

Today? The fever broke so I'm able to walk without flopping over, string coherent sentences together and can focus long enough to play WoW...But I'm sneezing all the time, have a nasty dry cough, losing my voice, and my throat is perpetually scratchy.

Blargh.

I'm pretty upset after a lousy dungeon experience I had the misfortune to come across just now.

I've been trying to get a Chaos Orb all week so I can craft my new Engineering goggles. Many heroics end up disbanding before they even see the final boss due to impatient folks or wiping too many times (something that people will have to learn to tolerate as it's still a learning period for many), and the few times we've made it to the end I naturally lose the roll.

Anyways, I had time for one more run tonight and queued myself up for a 45 minute wait. Finally it pops, and I get Heroic Deadmines (which I have not run yet). I was pretty excited to experience the revamped dungeon and was looking forward to trying it. It was already in progress when I joined, I believe we were on the 3rd boss. Anyways, the run went smoothly, aside from the tank being somewhat vulgar and tastless. People explained the fights, and we got all the way through to Vanessa VanCleef. We completed the Nightmare phase and were about to take her on for the final battle.

Backtrack momentarily: Now, when I had joined the group the tank had asked how many needed Chaos Orbs, and to link what we needed them for. I said that I'd be needing on it as I required one for my new head piece, linking the schematic for it.

Back to standing at Vanessa. The tank whispers me privately and asks if I could pass on the Orb since he only needed one more. I apologized and said that I really needed one too, so I'd be rolling for it and we could let the dice determine the outcome.

Next thing I know....I'm kicked out of the group.

45 minutes of waiting...the last dungeon I could run tonight, with hopes at getting a chance at the Orb. And this greedy scumbag eliminated me as competition. I know I should have ignored it, but I did end up making a quick alt on his realm, not to nerdrage at him, but just to politely express my disappointment that something so petty caused my removal from the group. Unsurprisingly he just laughed, called me a baddie, said I was dragging the group down and he wasn't about to lose the roll to a 'freeloader like me' since he'd been with the run the entire duration and I had joined in while it was in progress. I didn't yell or argue with him, just shrugged and again said that was his problem and left it at that. The healer had been from the same realm, and I asked him about it before I logged out. He said the tank had bullied them all into kicking me claiming that it was because I was the worst dps and wasn't following directions, but that the healer didn't think so and apologized for voting to kick me and that I was screwed over like that. Still, to blindly follow the orders of a rude tank is pretty low also, but I'm not even going to bother going that route.

Just aggravated. A complete waste of a good 2 hours when you include the queue time and the run itself. Nothing to show for it except frustration. Looking back on it I wished I had just said "Oh sure, I'll pass on the orb." And needed anyways at the end, there would have been nothing he could have done at that point. Of course I couldn't have realized that he was going to be such an ass though.

Unfortunately, prima donna tanks have really come to a peak with this new heroics business. I got vote kicked on zoning in. Gee, thanks for wasting my 45 minute queue. I noticed the party was all plate so I guess they ... didn't want more physical DPS?

Also, I hate it when people go 'omg, you're so <blank> I hate you ' as if it's a compliment. Or 'you're gonna hate me but, <totally awesome luck>'. Thanks for gloating. Next time just bloody say what you did and be done with it. I'll hate if I'm gonna hate and I won't if I won't. 95% of the time I won't.

Had the worst run in Scarlet Monastary: Graveyard EVER.

It wasnt the DPS or the healer that was the issue...it was the TANK.

What went wrong? Simple.

1. Druid was trying to tank in CAT FORM.
2. I had to REPEATEDLY tell them to get their ass back in Bear form. I was nice at first but then I had to get bitchy cause he kept doing it.
3. Couldn't hold aggro to save his life. Who was really tanking? My fox, Liam. He was a champ.
4. A rare spawn pops up. We kill it. The rare dropped blue cloth pants. The only clothie in the group was the healer. It has Intellect/Spirit, etc. The healer is excited. Who else rolled on it? The tank. Guess what? The tank won it. The entire GROUP was pissed off. They nailed him hard for it. The tank just went 'Lol. u guyz r so bichy. god.'
5. That stupid timer wouldnt let us kick him....yet. We managed to get to the final boss, thanks to my Fox keeping the aggro off the healer. We get to the last boss and FINALLY we got to vote kick him. The Warrior took on the boss while we were waiting and by the time the Paladin tank got in, the boss had like 100hp left. Lol.

Just....good god. I want that bastard to never play wow again...seriously.

That's pretty bad when your pet holds more aggro then the tank. Put him on wow jackass.

@Veph.. This why I've been laying low on heroics. The groups have no patience at all and will disband usually after only a couple wipes. It takes to long to quene to not even get the heroic done.
