Been at 85 a couple of days myself, but too busy to post! Got Jadefang and the as-yet-unnamed mini-fang, plus I tamed Ol' Beaky in heroic Deadmines! Slowly working my way through leveling everyone; it's really not too bad. *glee*

Edit: O_O *extremely shocked* I was flying around Twilight Highlands after waking up today, hoping to find Karoma... But still knowing that the chances of him being there would be extremely slim. At some point I gave up, queued for a dungeon and started to make my way back to a flightpath when...

My guild group DESTROYED heroic Deadmines tonight (yay!) and Rockslicer dropped (double yay!), so now Kalli has a fantastically twink-like axe! Makes me appreciate the old simplicity of the artwork, just for something different. It looks pretty good with the pre-raiding blues I've got too!

Me and Palladiamorsdeus were discussing Cataclysm over Skype, and as we bitched and whined, I copied the conversation and put it on my blog at Spill, which is what I tend to do when our discussions get too chaotic to wrap it up in a coherent review/essay.

I dinged 85 last night. It was kind of epic, I had decided to give up the grind for the night if I didn't ding during my Vortex Pinnacle run, and I dinged when the last boss went down. Then I zoned out in Twilight Highlands and got screamed at by NPCScan. Karoma!!!

I've been running dungeons all day (while watching movies with my son - he's been having a sick day) with her by my side. Her name is Céleste, to match my void wolf Djinn.

My mind was actually made up to go for GC, but clearly Céleste had other ideas.

I will I will. Right now I'm having a blast getting Sara's reps and gear up though... I'm not saying Nesingwary isn't a priority (because that would both be sacrilege and a lie) but I'm, uhm... distracted.

I'm seriously debating a realm transfer of my tauren druid though... It would be a lot of fun to level her in a guild that's active (as opposed to being the Other Side alt guild of an already small guild). Gotta find some loose change laying around and I'll get on that.

As some of you know I nabs me a TLPD last night after a couple weeks of mostly dedicated camping (I told myself no Cata till I got TLPD). Now I can play Cata! I'll link the forum if you haven't been paying attention to my struggles with finding TLPD.

Took 10 Vyragosa kills before I finally found him



~Also last night in a BG to get the With a little helper from my friends achievement (50 hks in gnome costume)
Horde completely dominated AV, I ended up with 282 HK's i think, 0 deaths, and 23 Killing Blows (Got Wrecking ball achievement too! )

Ah nice, I love BGs like that!! I honestly think there are a lot of great PVPers out there who just don't do BGs because they hate the nasty tone in BG chat. Unfortunately with the new system they'll most likely stick to rated BGs with their friends...

Two epic upgrades today, one from each of the new bosses we got down. I have my murloc gloves and some matching green pants. Very very lucky!

Another new boss down! We're actually on the forefront of progression on my server. Which is in and of itself not saying much, but I am proud of us! xD

Magmaw and the Omnitron Defense System (the first two bosses in Blackwing Descent), plus the guy in vault. ^_^ The fact that we had Tol Barad at ALL was a small miracle. xD Lemme tell ya, everything hits really really REALLY hard when you're in heroic blues and very few epics! I got to Rapid Fire twice in the Defense System fight, and our priest hymned twice - long, long fight at this stage of gear.

I've gotten my Worgen Druid to 26, my 80 hunter co-main to 83, and I've just made a siggy of my worgen druid!

I am bad, bad, woah bad bad at intentionally taming rarespawns. I rolled a hunter and right off the bat managed to, despite stalking a Corrupted Scorpid a stone's throw from Death Flayer around Durotar for an hour, never even see said rarespawn-- and that trend has pretty much held ever since. But my new hunter needed a chimaera, because they're flappy and wooshy and I love 'em. But they have to be an Outlands skin, the vanilla ones are ugly. And I can't reuse anything I've decided belongs to another character, so the green ones are right out. Did I mention this hunter's pet color theme is blue/purple/pink?

SIGH. It had to be done. I had to go intentionally tame a rarespawn: Nuramoc.

I have to admit I suspected I couldn't pull it off. I get antsy if I have to camp a quest mob for five minutes. And almost every time there's a chance that I could try to obtain something and have it snatched away from me, I'm just going to turn and walk away. On the superstitious front, I already tamed it once on another character, and I killed it a few times back in BC. The rarespawn deities might thus declare that I've used up all my luck with this mob!

But @#$% it, I wanted my flying purple people eater. So about a week ago I installed NPCscan, dusted off a /target macro, and hauled myself out to Netherstorm once or twice a day. Y'know, since was in Outlands anyways for my Netherwing dailies. And all the frustrated hope was just as heartburn-inducing as I expected, but I kept doing my passes.

And then my second circle around Netherstorm today:

My victory lap consisted of 15 Netherwing Eggs. So... guess I'll be naming it Lucky?
