I have to say I must be one lucky hunter imo. I had just hit 85 and decided to start my camping for Karoma and Sambas. Flew around Sambas pat areas but sadly nothing. (As I expected) Then flew around Karoma's spawn points twice. The second time flying over the Dunwald Ruins, my npcscan goes off and i see that it's Karoma. I panicked worried someone had killed her and the scanner had just picked up her corpse but sure enough she was patting right in my direction. I landed, dismissed Ainamiss, popped a freezing trap and hit tame. She came pouncing at me with full force missing the trap. I didn't want to start over. Worried someone would come and kill her. So I suffered through the biting and got my new pet. This pet model has been one of my dream pets for the longest time and now I have it. I too often forget in the panic that Spirit Beasts leap at you rather than run.
