Might as well post in all the lucky magical petly goodness threads. I just settled into Jadefang's spawn point tonight after being bummed about not finding Madexx the past few days. So, I'll try to get Jadefang first, then head to Uldum and get Madexx. If I'm lucky, I'll get any color but blue (brown or black preferred). But luck has a tendency to not smile upon this old nelf hunter.

Still, doesn't hurt to try, so.....magic thread, work your wonders!!!

Still camping... seven hours of circles... its almost like Sholazar v2.

Might as well jump on the bandwagon here. Been camping Sambas for five days now, I think (getting delirious staring at the same things lol) and not even a hair in sight. Heeeere kitty kitty!

I saw it dead on Feathermoon around 6:40ish PM server time.

I tried to help this dwarf get it since he didn't have fast flying but a druid ninja'd it with moonfire. Alas. He handles fall damage better than I. ><

Is it sad I'm still after Skoll? Madexx would be nice but I'm not too worried. I'm still riding good vibes and happy times from taming Jadefang. I'm so grateful people were patient while Jade evade bugged and we worked out a working setup. x.x

I made an account just to say, i read this thread, immediately flew to Mount hyjal to see if Terrorpene was up. Got there, he was, clicked deterrence, started to tame, and realized i had never learned the 5th pet slot.. By the time i dropped my other turtle, since he was just a placeholder for Terror anyway. Deterrence had ran out, and i figured why not try taming anyway. 4 seconds later I was dead. And spawned just in time to watch a blood elf tame him.

Sadly, i didn't get this pet, but this thread is true magic. And i did congratulate the blood elf instead of shooting him in the face.

Edit.. And i missed my dungeon for typing all this... Blah such bad luck...

Ouch Sorvantos, that hurts. But! At least you know the last time he was up, so you can kind of gauge the time he might respawn. If I had any inkling of what that might be, I'd give you some advice. But Terrorpene is surprisingly enough one that I am not after, so I haven't really been following him much.

But good luck to you!!!

As for my Jadefang, I logged in this morning to find a lock sitting in its spawn area. Not a big deal, really, I was heading to work anyway (not that I would have tried to take him even if he had spawned right there...that guy had been camping for a couple hours, not me). He said that he heard Jadefang had been killed about six hours previously...which was about half an hour after I logged and went to bed. Oof. I did wish the fellow luck and kindly asked him to send me a mail if he found Jadefang to let me know what time it was, so I could figure out when to come back. So, we'll see what happens. I'm not moving from this spot til I get him though. Might make for some uncomfortable nights for my nelf, sleeping on that cold, hard rock.

Camped for 12 hours before I got Terrorpene.

After that, I got the invisible [Karma] buff, and Sambas spawned next to me while I was farming leather in Twilight Highlands, then Karoma in almost the same spot two days later, while I was ... farming leather again.

So I'm going out on a limb here and assuming (just as irrationally) that in addition to creating a thread like this, if you want a rare pet, camp one for 12 hours (successfuly) and the rest will flock to you one-by-one thereafter. Either that, or Sambas and Karoma just like the smell of decaying carcasses left in the wake of a bloodthirsty skinner.

Sadly, I didn't even want Karoma. I like my Loque better. But I guess I'll start the obligatory spirit beast collection in my stable.

LOVE this thread lol. Finally got Sambas around 11:05am server time on Farstriders. Found him just southeast of Glopgut's Hollow wandering in the woods like he owned the place. Scooped him up and dashed out of there before I set anyone's scan off. Now I can finally get some sleep

)

Well, no luck for me yet.

Been camping Madexx for 5 days now (and by camping, I mean really camping for hours, straight).

No kills, no tames, no body, no sign of him, like a urban legend (I saw the pictures, so I know it's true, but...)

I'm already on my 7th hour for today.

I'm at that point that every tour around the spawn points I think about giving up and at the same time I think about the bus paradox "the more I wait, closer it gets and less I still need to wait"

Hope that this is the lucky post, since my last one didn't work. lol.
