Jadefang not for hunters :O)

I've seen Jadefang once. Sadly, I was only level 83 so I couldn't tame it, and didn't have the bomb quest to get up there anyway. I am a night elf, but didn't know about this wisp thing at the time, else I could have at least had a minipet. Soooo, now it's campy camp camp time.

Indeed you tell the truth i went to try tame him today and there was about 8 other people just standing around waiting, Made me quite disheartened i must say still he will soon be mine!

killed him on my server for the mini pet as i was not high enough lvl to tame. found a way to get up to him without having to do the bomb exploding thing. so i was all alone with him lol

As an engineer rocket boots and disengage,

Or just do it simple way - keep this quest in your log and Ricket Ticker's in your bag :O)
I don't know if its bug or not, but I was able to pick up extra quest while having Underground Economy in my log...

i just tamed him on windrunner with virtually no competition... I used the die near the ledge and fly in with a gryphon and ress on jadefang's ledge idea and within 5 mins of sitting there he spawned =D Just farm him on days where the daily isn't there i guess IDK =D

I've seen it twice. First to get the mini pet, next was to tame it. I just kept the bomb quest for about 3 days and camped out in the cave. As I would wake up during the night at random times I'd force myself to log in and check. Worked both times but the spawns were always in the morning. First was about 4 am ST the next was 7:30 am ST.

I'm not high enough yet to tame him on my hunter, but the quest giver was finally there so I decided to take the chance on getting the companion on my priest instead!

I have been really unlucky with the pattern for Vial of the Sands (11 jars >< ), so running into Jadefang would really cheer me up a bit. And I was not disappointed. When I ran deeper into the cave, I could hear someone launching themselves towards the cave, so I opened up with a shadow word death (had it been a hunter, I would've tried fading and leaved the mob to them to be tamed, but it was a shaman instead). The whole kill was really messy and I nearly got myself killed. But I've finally got my wee friend. <3 I can't wait to be able to tame his big brother on my hunter, I absolutely adore these wee spiders!
