Earlier today I noticed the Jadefang daily was up, so I grabbed it a quickly headed up to her spawn point. All alone, not another soul in sight! Despite being on my hunter, I actually wanted to kill her for the pet... my druid is a minipet collector, but unfortunately isn't high enough level to kill or even reach Jadefang, so I'm trying to get it on my hunter and then transfer it and the elementium geode my guildie gave me free over to her. ( He's gotten 3 so far ).
Ended up logging out to go see a movie and game back to find a goblin hunter sitting on top of me, or rather me sitting on top of her :3 Assumnig she was there to tame, I wish her luck and ran off to do BGs. Come back a bit later, and she's gone. Unsure if she got it or not, I decide to camp again for the pet, when a troll rogue comes up. OH man, I think, he'd kill it even if I were here to tame it...
" Here to tame it? " he asks.
No... I'm a mini-pet collector.
" Ah, me too! But you were here first. "
And he leaves. We ended up having a nice conversation in whispers, mostly about Tol Barad, which Horde has held since Cata's release. After a while, a dwarf hunter ran up and I left her with a /luck and /bow. I know I'm going to let two other hunters tame it before I get my mini-pet, at least
On a side note, it's not just other hunters and mini-pet collectors being friendly and kind. Did a WSG today and instead of the usual trolling and moaning, the first things that pop up in BG chat were a chorus of thank yous for buffs, healthstones, and pig feast. First time I've seen people be so grateful in BGs! We ended up working together and won, three to nothing... and a rogue guildy got the Ironman achievement!
