Indecisive

Unread post by Talody »

Trying to decide on a fifth pet for Talody.

Currently have these four, all at 80 and love them all to pieces. :)

Want to continue with the unique and rarely seen theme I seem to have going on, but I'm not sure what to get.

Thinking about these guys.

Or maybe a wolf, to help get into raiding should I ever feel the desire to do so on this character.

If anybody can share their experiences with these pets I'd love to hear them. :)

/sigh
So many pets and so little stable space. :(

My personal vote would go to the Silithid just because I see so few of them around. I wish I had room for one.

And if you go the Wolf route, I'd say the red one since likewise I never see them and that fur is rather pretty looking despite being plain. :)

I'd also vote silithid, as I'm an avid fan. They're awesome for soloing, grinding (due to sprint almost ALWAYS being up) and pvp. They're huge pets, and the idle dance that they do is too cute. They're underloved, I think, but I know my silithid is my favorite pet ever.

If you do go with a wolf, I also agree with Veph, and say go with the red wolf. It's a very stationary pet, but it's pelt is rather pretty, and I almost tamed one as my raiding wolf. If you'd rather go with the old world wolves (which are my personal favorite), I'd say the black.

Well if your into raiding the wolf would be nice if your marks or Surv. They help out a good bit and of course wolves do rock :) if u want a unique skin of wolf i hardly ever see The Old Cliff Jumper worg.

Though i also like windserpents, they really are just fun pets to have around!

I also like Wind Serpents. They are unusual, and they can actually output respectable DPS.

I also exist on DeviantArt.

I got myself a scorpid on Aoani, and I must say, I'm won over. They've got cute animations and a nice family skill, and a tenacity pet would make a nice addition to your stable. :)

if you consider a scorpion there are 3 slightly unique looks. the Silithid Creeper and crawler can only be found in Barrens, scorpid worker and Clattering scoprid can only be found in Durotar. and there The yellow skinned scorpid have a slightly different model than the rest. its missing eyes and teeths!
Also its the only skin that doesnt have stripes or spots and its underside is a bright green.
Bears and crocs after my experiense build aggro much easyer than anny other tenacity pet but that doesnt mean the rest of the bunch should be overlooked!
i personaly love my warpstalker and ghost wurm.

If you really want a wolf the barking puppys from mulgore might be a idea. Or maybe the rare Old cliff jumper?! or what about the quest wolf from terrokar forrest? both of these have a skin only they have.

Bats are huge and works best as pvp pets after my experience as the stun isent often needed in pve. But these guys are way impressive under Bestial wrath thats for sure.

Moths. i love my Cuddlebug to bits. and each time i take it in ICC the whole guild laughs cause its hillarious that this lil fluffy thing makes the huge skelletons fall over. Not quite as high dps as a wolf but still great pets and im not planning on dropping mine anytime soon.

Windserpents, my alt does have one. a white outland model and i quite like it. havent seen anything beeing immune or resisting its family skill as of yet.
A decent pet for Heroics, pvp and quest companion.

Carrion birds, i love my trachela. The AP redusion(word) is great for all the group pulls in pve, also a nice skill to have in pvp.

Silithids. ahh the upgraded spider. again just like the Bat the special skill isent often needed in pve. though they surely are unique and very active fellas.

While this feature of the Grimtotem Spirit Guide wasn't exactly intended... - it will still be possible in future for everyone who wishes to tame this NPC to do so

Thanks for the replies. :D

You've given me some things to think about, and I've got a list of pets to tame and try out.

So far, I've spent time with a carrion bird, and as awesome as Polly was, we just didn't "click". Bat was a bit too flappy for me. Gonna take a silithid out farming with me later. :)
