Spider or cat for pvp

I was wondering which is better for pvp a spider or cat?

it would really help if you told us your toon/style of play/etc like that because it really, really depends on how you play. Spiders, when played well are remarkable for stopping the EFC. But I've seen poorly managed spiders fail and easily kited off and away by myself or my pet.

Cats on the other hand are good but they really shine with night elves- from the dual stealth/surprise attack combo.

If you don't like micromanagement, go for the cat.

If you like management of pets, go for the spider.

Mmm I agree with Ryai here. Oh, if only we had more than one stable slot and could try out different pets! Oh wait...

Spider cause they can trap the enemy.. but their ability doenst do any damage.. so migth wanna take a silith instead? same netting abilties as spiders but the net does poison damage

I tried a cat and spider the spider was pretty good but the cat destroys so I'm gonna stick with cat.

I personally liked hyenas a lot. They are ferocity so good damage, plus you can't beat a quick-cooldown hamstring-like ability (Tendon Rip I think it's called?). If you have to choose I'd say go hyena. There are some very pretty ones out there, I personally liked the red one the best but that's in Scarlet Monastary, so not quite your level yet. The purple ones are also attractive.

The immobilize effect is infinitely more useful in PvP over prowl/rake in my opinion.

Maybe the fact that he doesn't care about utility, just damage....lol.
