Christmas Tames!

Spent every nite looking for Samba's.yesterday went from 9am to 9 am this morning ,a horde caught him as I went bio yesterday lol.

Went to sleep woke up nothing at 38/53. I go to next spot there he is no glasses on. I fumbke around dismissed the Karoma i had found at 4 am (tamed him 7 times).An I have one in stable .

Screen froze as I put down trap,im like omfg /wtf /lol...

I turn away and start tame bingo Caesar is Mine /Gave up white Lion for Karoma /then to Sambas...

Merry Xmas !!! now i lost him and oil stain and gorebite due to the pet abandon macro hit by accident /waiting for a reply

A good friend of mine, going all the way back to vanilla, has wanted Arcturis since he was patched in. He's spend months camping off and on, checking spawn points, holding out hope despite never seeing a glimmer of glowing hide. Well, today, on my way between archaeology nodes, I decide to check the Arcturis spawn on a whim...fully intending to tame him if I find him. I turn on Beast Tracking as I approach Amberpine Lodge since Arcturis is cached from passing through Dalaran, mouse over, and a jolt passes through me as I spot his name!

I drop to the ground, dismiss pet, tag and drop trap--and freeze as Arcturis does. Is my friend online? Yes, he is! Rather than channel the tame, I hurriedly whisper him to GET HERE NOW I HAVE ARCTURIS TRAPPED, and start dragging the spirit bear away from his spawn point in an effort to keep from being disturbed as we wait. My pulse is racing, fearful of anyone that might approach, keenly aware of the bear's health hovering at 59% from my tagging shot.

Twenty seconds later, Sidelvar has his Arcturis...he never did unbind his hearthstone from Amberpine Lodge.

So, after chasing Loque for a good year, he suddenly appears in front of me!
And after some heroics where i levelled him up, i went out to look for more pets to tame, and this is insane.

in around an hour, i managed to tame Skoll, Sambas AND Karoma :O :O
and i got Madexx yesterday, Terrorpene 3 days ago.

It is my birthday today, so i guess blizzard heard my wishes

Now i need to figure out some names for all of these

Was camping Jadefang (a mage killed him right in while I was taming the night before) all day but took a break to Tol Barad. Took a small stop to check other rarespawn points and ended up find Ghostcrawler!

Well this Christmas ended with a bang for me I suppose. I had given up hope finding anything at all and decided I'd skim Northrend again before the day ended. Checked out Loq first and found people camping almost every spawn point, I kid not. So I decided to try Skoll again as I had had no luck seeing him or anything in Storm Peaks for that matter. Checked out the frozen lake spot, then the two spots by the disc and almost decided to sit and camp that spot but went over to the spot above the village instead and BAM! There he was!




Of all the luck tonight. So as I was trying to post this I decided to check out the bear just for the hell of it though I haven't been activiely searching for him, just a short glance and BAM again! My five slots were full so I had to let my corehound go. I was fine with that though.



Congrats everyone on successful hunts today! Happy holidays! Everyone else, don't get discouraged just keep up the hunt!

I was doing some Archaeology in Grizzly Hills when I played with Arcturis for about 10 minutes while my friend took a flight out from Dal on his hunter....better to give than receive!

I logged on after about a two day absence (my subscription ran out on the 23rd and I renewed it today) to a fellow hunter in the guild excitedly telling me he tamed Ghostcrawler last night at about 9 pm server time, and that I should check because, well, his spawn timer is around 12 hours and, what do you know, it's 9 am! I go over there and do my usual fly-by (swim-by?) and see nothing. Then I see a red dot on my map and I get excited for the split second between seeing it and realizing Ghostcrawler isn't hostile. So, I make one last pass to the furthest point on the map and there he was, chilling by a rock. Drop down, hit tame, and about 10 seconds later he's mine.

and ive killed this one 4 times, tamed him 4 times and released him again.. but still he keep appearing, so i´m gonna give him a shot more

After well over a month, of about 5-8 hour sessions of camping this lovely creature.

He's finally mine. I started around 9:00PM CST, with two friends camping all of his "known" spawn locations - for 8 hours we waited, patiently for something to show up. I was getting tired and decided to do one more sweep before getting ready to crash, low and behold my macro and my NPC scan go crazy... I find him, after being a little shaken from being tired and not expecting him to actually be there. It was so exciting, I have all but Arcturis the spirit bear (if I spelled his name right) to complete my collection of "Northrend" spirit beasts.
