and in competition with another fellow petopian for the green...

Then at least it's friendly competition, right? Better that than being against people you don't know, not to mention other non-hunters who might kill him on sight. At least this way, there are two pairs of eyes out there and you know that no matter who of you ends up getting him, he'll go to a good home.

Hang in there! I'm revving up for another Madexx camp myself because I just simply must have my green one. Brown is great and all, but the green stole my heart long ago.

I'm going to bust my buns tonight so I can hopefully start camping Madexx by the weekend. I don't think I care what color since it's name will be smitten and that is many shades in life. But blue or green are certainly preferred.

I said that, too. I even got my second favorite color (bronze). But that still isn't good enough. I will have no less than green. So prepare to be elated when you find a brown or black Madexx, tame it, then find yourself looking at screen shots on the boards of someone with a blue Madexx and having the desire to do another crazy camp.

It means if you attack Madexx it pulls him completely into your phase and only other hunters in your phase will be able to see him. I am not sure if resetting (Feign Death) with reset his phase or not, but I have been with a guildie who saw Madexx go from being "there" to not being there... and then about 30sec later another hunter said in General Chat they tamed him in the same spot we were at.

I don't think there are THAT many phases in that location... two for sure... three maybe.

Are the phases something that's bugged, or is it supposed to be like that? Sounds pretty stupid to me.

Not totally... the other hunter is bringing in pals to tame the colors he doesn't want.. so I'm competing against 5 or 6 really..
