Delora skidded to a stop and let out a loud whine. She could Never remember being so scared. Well, alright, losing Deoxys had come close but this...this was a totally different mindfu- "Oh lord, he's going to kill us..."

(( I think you should draw this Insins Moon....or at least try! ))

[Lupis]

The ghosts shrieked in fear. They were usually unafraid of anything, but... THIS!
"RUN RUN RUN!" they screamed at Delora. "RUN!" The Blightmare turned towards Insins, the only one that couldn't see him. It helped some at least.
"Stop!" he howled. "YOU'RE INSANE! A MONSTER! DIE!" he launched several attacks in vain.

Solara winced, sensing a spike of psychic energy from the general area of the Dusk. Okay, ow. Whatever the fel it was, it was loud. She flickered, phasing once more and intensifying her psychic attacks, attacking once more.

Solara used Confusion!

((I like how the other fight has just slowed down to a crawl while Insins does his little Cthulhu thing.
And.... I have no idea if I could draw this. At all. XD))

The monster that was Insins ignored the Blightmare's attacks as a blue whale would ignore a mosquito bite. Suddenly, the tiny things in front of him were insignificant, a spec to be ignored. The Universe called to him.
More spiked tentacles emerged, most on his back, a few surrounding his "mouth". He bulked up more, muscles building grotequely upon other muscles, tearing though the skin, glistening and red.

I SsEeee it! He cried out telepatically, his physcal voice shrieking in extasy at the same time. I sSSsssEeeEEee ThE PILLaRrrRRRSSssS of CReaTIon thAt theeeEE UNIvERSSsSse iS BUiLt UPoooONNNnnNN! i CAAANNNNNNnnNNnnn REaaaaEACH ITtttTTTtT! I CaaannnNNNnnN AlMOOOOoooOSSttTTT UNDerSTANNnnD!

And abruptly, it ended.

His eyes bulged briefly, turning red at the edges as the blood vessels in them, and those all around his body, simultaniously exploded from the pressure. His internal organs, or what were once organs, simply shut down, unable to handle the energy and mutation. The mass of flesh and bone fell to the ground, gasping for air to try and fill lungs that just didn't work anymore.

((So long Tyrant Insins, you shall not be forgotten. *sniff* as people will be seeing you in their nightmares for weeks to come.))

((Egads. That was amazing in a horrifying way. And really, it just boils down to small conflicts and wasting time before the mass cure. That's why I'm not doing much.

Solara winced. Whatever was screaming was painfully loud, especially in her phased state. She recoiled, shaking her head as it ached. When it stopped, she shook her head in confusion and pain. What in Arceus' name was that? It stopped now, and the Voices quietly hummed, just as clueless as the psyceon. Deciding to ignore it, Solara returned to the conflict, healing Buzzard and herself.

((...*Mourns* You will be missed, amazing Tyrant Insins. You will be missed. Also, I won't have nightmares - dreams with that awesome beast would be amazing!))

The ghosts just stared. They couldn't speak for a while, just staring at the dying beast. It... it was dead? Or it was dying... The Blightmare stared at it, backing away. "That.. I.. don't think I'll ever be scared again..." it muttered, still shaking.

Scarab twitched suddenly, a jolt of pain shooting through his mind. The voices screamed for a moment, one of them echoing Insins' last words. He winced, shaking his head. The voices knew something had happened to the scientist... Something really strange.
((That was so sad... >.> Am I the only one that was really sad when I read Insins' last few words?))

[Kira]

(( *Raises hand* Saddened and creeped out by Insins in the end there...I feel very odd now O.o ))

Delora shuddered as she backed away from the...thing. She made a little gag like noise before she turned away and headed back to where he had stored his findings. She could destroy what he hadn't, to make sure this never happened again. And maybe she could find something to get rid of the nightmares she was sure to have.

[Lupis]

The ghosts, for once, didn't object. They were far too horrified by the monstrosity to object. In fact, the Blightmare ((I love the idea of him, so he'll stick around)) followed to help.

[Kira]

Delora slipped into the room and glanced around, frowning at the destruction that had taken place already. So much of the virus was on the floor now. She frowned at the tanks that were still filled, using her Razor Wind to crack the glass. She padded over to one and peered at it, trying to figure out how to break the-A tiny cracking sound echoed in the room before the tank erupted, washing her clear across the floor while coating her in the virus.

[Lupis]

The ghost frowned, floating over to try and help Delora up. It hummed nervously, punching the ground to try and freeze the liquid.

((This is true, the sudden quiet close to the event is a product of serendipity. Doesn't mean I didn't notice and like the coincidence. XD
And no, you're not the only one sad Lupus. As amoral as Insins was, at the end there he quite personified my own thirst for knowledge on how things work, and my delight at discovering that knowledge. He did horrible things, both before and during the story. but he did most of it for the very human reason of curiousity. He just took more than a few steps beyond the blurry line of morality to sate that curiousity. In that way, although he deviated from what I originally planned for the character, I think he worked perfectly. Thank you Insins, you were fun to play. I shall not forget you.))

Seventeen hissed, bowing her head to clutch at it with her paws. There was a sharp pain in her head, like a needle being driven into her skill. Amidst the pain, she thought she could hear words, although she couldn't make them out. As as suddenly as ti had come, it faded. She looked over to Gamin, but her subordinate seemed oblivious to what just happened. She whined, unsure of what had happened, but not liking it nonetheless.

Venin also experienced the headache, although it was more muted than it had been with the Voltectric. "You felt that Phantom?" She asked.

Psycosis still stood frozen in the centre of the destroyed lab, unmoved from when Insins underwent his transformation. He didn't react when the ghosts and Delora moved into the Lab, didn't move when the Dusk Virus wave crashed into him, washing him to the wall.

[Kira]

Delora managed to stand, shaking the nasty liquid from her fur as she spit out a bit of it, shuddering. "Man, that stuff tastes Awful! And it feels so disgusting going down!" She hacked and shuddered again. "I don't know how you could stand to be-Gah!" A loud whine came out of her as she sank down, feeling pain rip through her body. She yelped out and tried to stand again, sliding onto her stomach instead.

The pain spread through her, causing her claws to dig into the froze virus and crack it. They grew, longer and harder, sharper as well. Her entire body grew, muscles growing larger as her legs elongated a few inches. The smaller dewclaws on her legs grew as well, sharpening to be almost painful. Her tail altered, the point shifting farther down as the rest elongated itself and created another spike near the end. The blade on her head shifted closer to her skull, the bottom tip sharpening and the edges becoming angular and much sharper.

Her fur grew longer, an inch on her entire body, a ruff of fur emerging on her back and then moving to lay flat. The fur on her head shifted to grow down to her nose, then up along the bridge and over her eyes, connecting below her chin to the ruffle on her neck, which had grown along it completely to form a sort of mane. The small oval on her head shifted and flattened, widening as it became a true Taijitu on her forehead. The changes eased over time, leaving her whimpering and trembling on the ground.

Delora evolved into Kosol!

The blightmare stared at Delora, then tried to help her up again. "...Are you okay?" he asked quietly. Too much strangeness going on today... He couldn't see her, but he had heard the pain, and felt the change in her lifeline. It worried him. She was one of only four others that had witnessed the.. thing, he almost felt like he had to help her.

[Kira]

"Everything is..so sore." Delora said in a quiet whimper, finding it hard to talk around her now larger fangs. She coughed and gave herself a little shake, hissing as she felt the pain spike in her skull. "How did you deal with this? I can barely move without whimpering.."

[Senna-Umbreon]

((*Pokes head into thread* Yes, I disappeared. I'll be AFK for a while longer, too. I have stuff to do in my Pokemon games, and there's a show that I NEEEED to watch on TV XD *Skedaddles*))

[Lupis]

The Blightmare frowned. "We all went through it. We had to... stand up to the pain? Prove ourselves." He shrugged slightly. "It hurts. But think about the strength you're gaining.. The pain is just a sensation. It fades.."

[Kira]

"And the voices are back..but not as bad this time.." Delora said as she tilted her head, blinking slowly. She shook herself again and then streched out, feeling the new muscles moving. A grin came across her face. "Hmmm, I like this new me...I feel strong now...and it feels like my old wounds all healed up!" Her tail flicked, almost wagging. "You know, this isn't so bad."

[Lupis]

The Blightmare smiled, as much as something without a real mouth can. "Understand now? Why we are so confident..." He shook his head, still haunted by the screams of the Voices as they echoed the mutant Insins. "Voices are... interesting. They can be useful, or painful..."

[Kira]

"Oh, I know about the voices. I was infected before." Delora shuddered as she remembered, remembering what she had done. "At least my fur didn't change colours this time." She added almost cheerfully, then she blinked. The Hypno. She turned her head to look at him, her tail flicking again.
