Rise of the Shadows!

Venin sighed in relief, sitting back on her haunches. She wished no ill-will on Ghost and her family really. "Good to see the big rock isn't going to die, but Don't think the dusk haven't noticed us all grouping up in one area."

As if like clockwork, Seventeen and Gamin charged forward. The voltectic jumped into the air, snarling as she fired a blast of lightning towards the group. Gamin swerved around to the side of the group, flanking them but not attacking.

Seventeen used Thunder!

Psychosis spasmed, his back arching backward and his eyes open in silent terror. He then curled into himself, whimpering psionically in pain as the Dusk evolution finally started to take effect. His white mane lenthened and grew up the back of his head, forming a sharp Widow's peak, and along his broaening shoulders. His feet grew into paws, not unlike that of a large cat, and his legs shifted into a digigrate stance. His posture slumped forward, a long, furred tail growing behind him to counter the shift in equalibrium. His ears grew longer, his nose more pointed, his features more angular. A mouth formed, splitting apart to let two pairs of tusks jut out, a long pair from the bottom jaw with a shorter pair on the top. Deep brown stripes covered his tail, back, uper arms and upper legs, along with two wedge markings on his cheeks and "socks" on his feet and forearms of the same colour.

Psychosis has evolved into a Remku!

Molly threw up her arms to form a shield. It absorbed the lightning and then flickered away. She leaped to her feet and slid into a defensive stand, ready to retaliate.

Molly used Protect!

Julius let out a hiss, sliding Rust underneath of him.

[Senna-Umbreon]

Ghost snarled as Seventeen and Gamin approached, "Stay away!!!" She hissed, leaping up to face the Voltectric.

[Azunara]

((I think people retaliated and attacked Sol, though I missed it, so I'm just going to say Sol was recuperating. Or wreaking havoc among the Sunrise.))

Solara used another heal on Buzzard, and then winced when she felt her link with one of her allies snap. "What happened? Who died?" She asked, mentally checking her connection. It looked like Taia died. Solara flicked her tail, bowing her head briefly in mourning. She didn't like the other Dusk, but...she didn't want her to die. Not out here.

A few Sunrise and Dawn tried to attack the psyceon while she paused and Solara tore into them, before reorienting herself. She decided to go help Buzzard, phasing and launching an empowered Psybeam and Confusion at Jaws and Olivia respectively.

Olivia let out a screech, clutching at her head with her good hand. Her feet slid apart as she tried to balance herself amid the fresh wave of dizziness. Blood loss coupled with the psychic attack sent her reeling. She hunched over slightly, letting her body and the air around her heat up to great temperatures.

Olivia used Overheat!

[Lupis]

Buzzard felt the bond with Taia snap and lifted his head, giving a low keening roar of mourning. Then he spun on Jaws, fire blasting from his maw.
Buzzard uses Fire Blast!

Gibbous ran to help Seventeen and Gamin, offering more power to both of them.
Gibbous uses Helping Hand! (Seventeen and Gamin)

The Blightmare and the Mismagius unfaded before Delora and the others, wincing as they saw Taia's body. They gave soft cries of mourning over her body before turning to Delora. "We will help.."

[Kira]

Delora looked at the ghosts and smiled, bowing her head for a moment. "Thank you, both of you. I'm sorry I had to kill her.." She glanced over at Taia, giving a slight wince as a voice rose up to scream at her in her mind. "But she was harming my family." Her tail flicked before she shook herself off and nodded. "Right! We have to help out where we can."
Ciro smiled and his own tail flicked as he looked up at his dad. "Can we do that attack again? It's fun!"
Theia floated over to Ironskull, her arms turning into true hands as she began to heal his smaller wounds to try and make it so that he wasn't so sore.

(( *Facepalm* I forgot about Ikis, Kyuu and Mewtwo. ))

Mewtwo winced and put a paw on his side for a moment, healing up what felt like a cracked rib before he looked at Kyuu. She whimpered at him quietly, then went after Ikis, who had picked random targets.

Ikis had been about to smash a Pikachu into the ground when a yellow ball struck him and knocked him down. "Who in the-...Terra?! You traitor!"
"You're the one that always hurt me and made fun of me! But these pokemon Care!" Terra growled, a faint glow starting to outline him.

[Lupis]

Flashfire, who had been standing back to recover, charged at Mewtwo as soon as Kyuu was gone. She jabbed at him with her horns.

Solara bared her teeth savagely, the heat seeming not to bother her much. She fired off another blast of psychic energy, ears pricked. It sounded like Buzzard was handling Jaws.

((Blah... Spontanious coughing and stuffy nose is not good for sleep. -.- ))

Psychosis uncurled himself slowly, his mind just begining to recover from the horror of touching the mind of his master; being linked to that same mind for the brief but furious moment that ended his life. He rose onto his feet, clutching at his pendulum as if it was the only thing anchoring him to this world, and looked around bleary eyed at the lab that he had called home for a few months.
It was mostly destroyed now, if not by his master then by the Dawn who appeared to stop him. The floor was flooded with the inky black goop of the G-Dusk, which lapped at his feet, along with glass shards and various other bits of debris. He found it was interesting that, although he was directly exposed to the virus, he was not evolving again. Perhaps he was immune to the virus' effects for a while after an evolution? It didn't matter he supposed.

The Remku made his way slowly out the lab, his limbs aching at their joints, almost stumbling a few times as he tried to get used to his new sense of balance. He eventually found himself outside, the transition from the mostly dim lab to the bright sun outside caused him to cover his eyes with his large hand. When he looked again, he saw the dead mass of flesh and bone that was his master... used to be his master.
He approached it in an almost reverant manner, a hand outstretched to hesitantly touch the now-cold body of Insins. He tried to touch it with his mind, but was both saddened and relieved to find nothing responded in kind. He found himself whining, tears spilling down his new face and falling to the ground below. His master was dead. Had been dead the second that needle entered his veins. This monster in front of him was a freakish perversion of the human Psychosis had loved. Had been proud to call his master.

Psychosis' mind flared with psionic activity, the pendulum in his hand begining to swing to and fro by itself. Slowly, heaving and quivering, the corpse of the thing that had been Insins rose off the ground and began to float towards the semi-destroyed lab, the gaunt pokemon following behind. He placed it in the center of the lab room, the inky blackness of the Dusk lapping against Insins' skin and sinnew in an almost ravenous manner. Psychosis then began to move about the room, collecting all the papers and electronic devices he could find and placing them in a pile on or around the body. He grabbed anything which could contain Data about the creation of the Dusk Virus.
His foot kicked something hidden by the black goo on the floor. Reaching down, he picked up the frame of Insins' shattered glasses. Psychosis studied the tiny frame of metal for a moment, his gaze almost mesmerized, before jolting back to reality. Cradling them, he moved about the entire complex, thoroughly making sure he gathered any scrap of work his master had written, before returning to the flooded Lab.

He stared forlornly at the grizzly sight before him for a time, fingers running around the rim of Insins' broken glasses. Outside of containment and with no host, the Virus would die and rot away, assuming it didn't mutate into some new horrible form. But... it didn't feel right to him to just leave it there, waiting for a chance to infect anyone hapless enough to stumble into the room. He looked around, eventually finding a still working Bunsen Burner. He turned it on, watching the flame dance from red to blue as he stepped back towards the entrance of the lab. Then, with a careful toss, he threw it towards Insins' corpse.
He was surprised, and moderately relieved, to see the Virus was quite flamable. Soon the entire lab was a sea of blisteringly hot fire. He could still see the shadow of his master's corpse, although it was slowly distintergtating from the flames. Still fiddling with the glasses, he wondered briefly if he too should join the flames, letting them consume him jut as they consumed Insins. If he did, would he see his master again in the afterlife? Would his master even be in the afterlife, or would Giratina spurn him and cast him away because of the sins commited in the last stretch of his life? Psychosis didn't know.
The temptation passed; he turned his back on the fire to leave the lab. There were still yet more doccuments, compounds and lab notes to burn yet. The Dusk was a blight, a horrible mistake that consumed his master's life even before he injected it into his veins. He felt bitter that it took him so long to realise this.

Psychosis' mind stretched out, trying to pinpoint the location of the first Dusk Lab. Locating a familiar and close landmark, the Remku teleported, leaving the lab to smolder and burn alone and unwatched.

((As much as I want to catch up the Hounds, it just seems... inappropriate after that. Not to mention it'll lengthen this post even more.))

Olivia shrieked at the pain and stumbled back a step. Furious, she dove at Solara with her claws outstretched, one coated in a ghostly purple mist and the other an eerie black and red glow.

Olivia used Shadow Claw!

((Good grief, Moon. That was amazing.))

Solara snarled, recoiling and shrieking in pain as the Shadow Claw hit her, the dark essence tearing at her focus. She wavered, ducking away in time to dodge the Night Slash, though it skimmed her shoulder. The psyceon shook herself, and growled wrathfully, claws digging into the earth as she returned with her own set of attacks, darting forth and focusing.

Solara used Zen Headbutt!

(( D-: Insiiinnnnnssss. Why does your death have to be so saadddd. By the way, awesomely epic, Moon.))

The voices in Scarab's mind hissed and growled as if in pained, muttering about death.

Hands watched the birds fly overhead, then finally took to the skies and followed. She had a feeling she knew where they would lead her. Scarab was different, changed, only a shallow echo of what he used to be - a shadow, twisted and deformed. And that shadow couldn't live. It destroyed his legacy, and it had to die.

[Kamalia]

((Poor Psychosis. :'())

Olivia stomped the ground hard enough to make it crack. She leaped up into the air and over Solara, avoiding the headbutt. She clumsily swiped at her again from above, losing her focus as the Psybeam hit her.

Olivia used Earthquake!

Mewtwo let out a cry as one of the horns pierced his arm, rending it next to useless. He whirled and his glowed brilliant blue again as he forced up a shield, then tried to knock Flashfire back.
Mewtwo used Psychic!

Kyuu and Terra were taking turns attacking Ikis, trying to keep him off guard so one of the two could get a good shot in, but he wasn't falling for it.

Delora slowed as she reached Shia and the others, looking at the Luxray. Shia shook her head and Delora nodded, leaping off into the battle. She targeted a group of Psychic types that were attacking and began to attack them from behind, surprising them. Looking like a Dusk was starting to turn into a good thing!

[Azunara]

Solara was unbalanced by the earthquake, but in her spectral state wasn't too hurt by it. The Shadow Claw however tore at her again and she hissed in agony. That hurt. Way too much. More than it should. She used the sun to heal the pain, shaking her head, growling. She was not going to let the flaming chicken best her. With a snarl, she turned, and shakily fired an attack.

Solara used Confusion!

((Last post before I head back to bed and try to get some more sleep. :< ))

Gamin and Seventeen snarled at the group of pokemon, circling around them furiously. Seventeen built electricity about herself, staring at Ghost, watching for the right time to strike. Gamin did the same, tensing his muscles, waiting for the slightest misstep.

Seventeen used Charge!
Gamin used Bulk Up!

Venin jumped beside Ghost, a grim smile on her face. "I know you hate Phantom's guts, but I hope you're at the least willing to accept some help in taking down the Mutts!"

Venin used Helping Hand!

Aways, Baaz growled, sighting Buzzard once again. Covering himself in flames, the Arcanine charged at the dragon.

Baaz used Flare blitz!

Olivia skidded to a halt when she landed. She turned back around to face Solara, then let out a small cry at the attack. She doubled over, thrusting her arms out to stop her fall. She paused, breathing hard for a few moments and staring hard at the ground. She cast her gaze back up at the Psyceon, glowering.
"What are you going to do, Solara?" She asked. "You're hell-bent on killing us all, it doesn't take a genius to see that. You really haven't changed all that much, have you? I remember, back during the war with Deoxys. The only thing keeping you going was that mad thirst of yours to kill Deoxys." She paused, narrowing her eyes slightly. "So, what are you going to do if you kill us all? Seems like the number one thing you run on is revenge. Do you actually have any other goals in mind? Or are you just going to sit around, content with yourself until some other poor schmuck gets on your bad side?"

[Lupis]

Buzzard spun on Baaz. The fire didn't hurt him much, but the impact did, and he staggered back before lashing out.

Flashfire snorted as she was pushed back, then leapt into the air, trying to crash down on to Mewtwo.

Solara hissed, shaking her head. She hated to admit it, but the shadow energy stung like mad, confusing her and hurting her. She listened to Olivia's question, tail flicking slowly. "I have family among the Dusk," She said, "Besides. Once you're all dead, I'll figure something out. Unfortunately, there are always idiots like you Dawn who think we're bad. It wouldn't surprise me if malcontents spring up. And I'll take care of them." She hissed softly, but didn't make a further move, waiting for Olivia to strike first and using the sun to heal herself.
