What pet to abandon?

Id like to get Sambas but I just tamed Ghostcrawler and took up the slot. Ive got a few pets that I would consider dropping that I'm not using but I'd like to get some opinions.

Ironback ... Ive got Terrorpene, not sure how hard it would be to get back. Its Pink!
Azzere the Skyblade.... Extinct Rare but I never use this pet. But its extinct!!
Goretooth.... This is the second Goretooth Ive had and it or Ripscale would be fine to pick up later. Ive got other pvp pets that snare , pin, slow etc..
Burning Boar..... Ive already abandoned the misty lookin buff bird. This boar is neat but I've got Grunter and I'm not using it . I think this pet cannot be tamed anymore with the appearance buff.

Any suggestions? I'm leaning toward the croc..

Well, it's entirely up to you of course, but I don't hold on to a pet because it's extinct when the skin isn't unique. When I needed space in my stables to make room for a rare (before 4.0.1) I dropped Araga because I knew I could get that skin back relatively easy. It's up to you of course, but what's much more important to me is whether or not a tame was hard - I'm not releasing my void wolf and Lord Kri, for example.

Anyway, your mileage may vary, but ultimately I see no reason to hold on to pets you don't enjoy/use just because they had a special name once.

Personally I'd drop Azzere. If you never use the pet, then really.. it's not easy to miss them. At least, in my opinion.
But it's all up to you.

I'd say Ironback--you still have another rare turtle, and you can always get that pink-grey skin in Dustwallow Marsh if you change your mind.

Well, I'm reconsidering and I may do Azzere, A pet that sits in the stable and is never used is pretty much a waste.
I can get another rare but not the same skin of course. The other pets I would still use form time to time. Ive never seen another hunter with Ironback so I'm pretty partial to that rare turtle tank.

Don' drop any skin that's difficult or impossible to get again, unless you just don't like it. (For me, that was east, I let Gondria go).

We are all going to have cool pets we rarely use, so it's likeliy you are going to have quite a few that are just collectibles.

While you can't tame a beast with that NPC ID#, you can tame a beast that looks and behaves the exact same as Azzere (for all intents and purposes, indistinguishable from your tamed Azzere). Hence, there really won't be any loss if you were to abandon Azzere - the only difference is sentimental, and if hyoudoesn't even bother using the pet, then I doubt you will lose too much sleep over setting Azzere free. After all, think of this as Azzere's situation (this comic is about mounts being stowed in the bank forever, back when they occupied bag space).

Well I did let Azzere go. I replaced the slot with Sambas last night. I posted the pick on another topic also but Im just happy.
