YAY! A good friend of mine, Blooddsurge (he's a member here so doesn't mind his name being mentioned) got a Madexx! Granted, it wasn't a color he was looking for, but hey. It's weird, he had a strange feeling around 1:30 at school to check for Madexx six hours later. I didn't know about that, so when I got home and logged on, I too had a strange suspicion he'd spawn tonight. Then, sure enough, about half an hour later (and about six hours after Bloodd's odd inkling), the little bugger actually spawned!!! I was at his spawn point first (he has a knack for spawning right in front of me, it's the weirdest thing), so I let Bloodd know (we're Real ID friends now, so much easier to help one another out that way). He frantically made his way there and couldn't decide whether to get it or not. After some encouragement, he decided to get it. But, like a moron, I had tagged and trapped it for him, also meaning I had threat. So after figuring that out, I used FD. Then his Tame Beast wouldn't work for some weird reason. Seconds felt like minutes as he frantically tried to tame. Finally, he called out a pet, dismissed it, and tamed again and phew...it worked. So, bronze Madexx is his! And then, my other friend (who I shall call "N") who got the green one the other night had flown by just as he tamed him, so her NPC Scan was probably going nuts, so she flew back around and landed. Much congratulations followed, and then I decided to go get my black one from the stable keeper so we could get some "family" photos. I will say that while this camp has been a headache and a half, it's been a lot less painful having good friends to keep me company. "N" is now my Real ID friend too and while I "lost" green to her, I wouldn't have wanted to have him go to anyone else. She'll take great care of him, and I made a friend in the process. <3
What's kind of interesting is that while I was snapping these pics, I really started to grow fond of my black one. When I tamed him, I just immediately put him in the stable (a bit out of frustration that he wasn't green and because I felt so bad that I couldn't get a hold of N because she still didn't have a Madexx at the time), so I haven't had much quality time with him. But taking this pics, I noticed that he seems rather...emo. Greeny and bronzey are energetic and wave their claws about (especially greeny), but mine - named Ebonslash - just sits there like "......" most of the time. I love it! He's so brooding. Hehe!
Pics time!!!
