Tame beast speed cap?!

Hello guys, writing about an issue im havin about stackin haste
i'm intended to tame swarming guardians in auraya encounter, in ulduar, and trying to stack haste as much as possible..but today...
this morning i had 10% haste from gear, plus ancient hysteria, and tamed a scorpid in durotar in 7 seconds..
now i stacked more haste socketing 8 gems 40haste,got passive 14% haste, then used a potion of speed, elixir of mighty speed, ancient hysteria..and tamed the same scorpid in durotar in 7 seconds... :-/
how can it be?
maybe there is a low cap in tame beast cast?
help me please T_T

There should not be a cap on haste, as I tested recently in deadmines (regular) with Cookie's food. I got the stack of the food buff to 99, for a grand total of 2780% increased haste (yes, that's the real number). I quickly jumped down and popped Tame Beast on a parrot, and before it even said Entering Combat, I had a new pet! No cast bar appeared, and it just instantly occured. I have 6% haste normally.

While I'm not saying to spend 20~ minutes stacking that buff and getting a port to Auriya and hoping you don't lag for 1 minute, I am confirming that there is not a stop for haste. You want as many buffs as you can, because every extra percent is worth it. Good luck on your tame!

wow!!wanna try with parrots in deadmines it must be awesome to Istant tame!
I don't think there's an haste cap too..but i can't realize why i tamed a scorpid in 7 second with or without my haste buffs :-/

without buffs i tame in 7 seconds, with my troll bezerking racial i tame in 6 seconds ^^ havent tried adding haste buffs by elixers yet tho, i know haste pots actually make it slower if you got something like shamans bloodlust/heroism, potions, corehounds ancient hysteria

It looks slower, but it's still faster--due to the way haste affects dots. Tame Beast is, in a sense, a strange dot with one tick...enough haste fools the game into thinking a second tick should be added, thus it displays as longer than it is.

Also, don't worry about haste to tame the Uld kitties. ^_^ I did it very recently with no more haste than level 85 gear already gives me (so I would have had a 7~10 sec tame) and had absolutely no trouble. No loss of aggro, no de-spawning, nothing. You can only tame them if the kitties spawn on you, though, cause they spawn with like 1000k threat on whoever they were summoned to spawn on lol. Good luck
