Got a green Warpstalker named Riffraff, and a red one named Magenta...also the first and only time so far that I've been toasted by Deathwing i had just tamed my first snake pet. It was one of the red ones from Tanaris, the sky had turned red just as the tame finished. After i rezzed i rezzed my new pet snake, and there she was, even more unhappy then she was before (can't blame her really) named her "RedSky"

On Hellscream there's an NE Hunter called "Cilit" and their black devilsaur is called "Bang". I cheer everyone I spot them.

I also made Ryai call her Ghostcrawler SailorCrab as it shoots stars and Sailor Moon came to mind for some reason.

Shale spider: Arachnastone, I wanted Arachnastonia but it was one letter too long
Core hound: Døgmaw

And Ghostcrawler is Ocypode, which is the genus name of the crab (Ghost crab) that GC named his screen name after. I've heard some people use the species name (quadrata) but I don't like how it sounds. This in a way is an inside joke/memory for me. GC has a PhD in marine bio and I just finished my undergrad in bio. During that time I did a research project in Barbados on the coral reefs (Vashj'ir is my favourite zone cuz of that) and two classmates were studying those very Ghost crabs. They got t-shirts made that said "I got crabs with <name>" and the other said "Me and <name> caught crabs together." so much fun!

Ah, that explains it. I'm an intended biochem major, so I'm guessing that some part of my brain recognized that name as having something to do with taxonomy.

to be honest, your name, and your pet names, would be an automatic mark for name policy violation complaint.

I wanted to name my Ghostcrawler EatAtJoes but I was afraid it'd get reported or upset people. All my other pets have random (or sometimes semi-relevent) words for names, lol. I do adore my pets though!

EDIT: oh, I have a gull named Mineminemine XD But that's been done to death. Oh yeah, and my crab is named Softshell XD; <3 Softshell, such a good little crabling...

For a long time I've been tempted to draw a picture called "SNAKES ON A PLANE" of the inside of a plane where people are seated and minding their own buisness and nothing's going on and there are arrows pointing to two of them labled "Solid" and "Liquid".

Haha, I've had a couple crabs named Citizen Snips too. They never really caught on, but I've got a snake called Fingers now. Never could bring myself to make a hunter named the Zoo Keeper though.

I'm always trying to name my pets something that fits the type of pet they are, but at the same time is a little silly or unique. As an example, I have a green striped cat name LimeAid, a rip-blade ravager named Nibbles, a diseased wolf named ItchyTasty, and a white devilsaur named Hungry.
