I started camping the TLPD and have thus far been losing the battle with the elusive beast. I saw one corpse, missed it by a few minutes. I also missed it by about an hour because I was in Org showing off my new beasties on my hunter instead of camping haha. Needless to say I have given up on that battle for now; I've decided that leveling my warrior to 85 would be more beneficial to my collecting because I could get more mounts in the long run and THEN camp TLPD. So I've been slowly leveling.
Today I was at work and decided to pop by the comic store I have been going to since I was little to buy a pack of cards. I told my boyfriend and he texted back 'GL on phat loots'. I laughed and said how it would just be an ugly ass Mottled Drake anyways. I walked in and two of my best friends were in there, Travis and Josh. I poked fun at them, calling them nerds, and then bought two packs of the new xpac for WoW cards; Worldbreaker. I try to open one back but I fail hardcore and Travis says 'No, no theres a technique.' I hand him a pack of cards, he opens it and asks if he could look at them. I say 'Sure, get me a loot card, it will be shiny!'
I sift through my cards; nothing. Not that I was surprised, I've been buying these cards almost weekly since they came out and I have NEVER seen the 1/3 extreme rare from any xpac. I slowly start to look at the cards more closely and Travis says 'Hey, I got a shiner.'
I glance over, and he's holding the Mottled Drake.

I take that picture, freak out, and send a picture to my boyfriend. OMG. I was so excited, Josh had to tell me to calm down. xD So I had to wait two hours at work, bouncing up and down while I anticipated redeeming it. I had no clue what I was going to do with it. I really didn't like the model; I thought it was ugly, just a glorified bronze drake. Part of me wanted to sell it because it sells for 150-210k from what I've seen. Another part of me wanted to find someone to trade it to, hopefully for one of the tcg mounts I actually love (rhino, slow spectral or chicken).
Well, I advertised on trade twice to sell it, got some people interested but didn't have the gold, and got lots of trolls who didn't think I actually had it. To shut them up I told them to meet me in Org and open trade with me
I ended up using the mount because even if it was ugly, it was MINE. I found it. 
AND as far as I know I'm realm first I totally love this drake, more than I thought. He's so ugly, and definitely looks way different than a bronze drake as you can see in the background. I've already got a ton of whispers about him which I was rather shocked about; I didn't think that many people will notice. So I'm a happy camper. His name is Sixty-Seven, which is something to do with the friend who found him.
Oh, and what else makes me happy; while writing this post, I tamed Sambas on my hunter!
