I'm not really going to camp it, though, now or then--cats aren't really my thing, as gorgeous as that one may be. I'd name it Silence, since, well, Silence is golden... >.> Terrible terrible joke, my apologies. But yeah, It's gorgeous even though I'm not a cat person--and even though I do love my Ochre (Shango) to death!

Anyway, it seems that he/she still hasn't respawned, so I'm going to go ahead and venture a guess that the lack of a "rare" tag on Pog... Po... Pokemon is an oversight. At the very least, it may have 2 or more spawnpoints, but it's been what, half an hour now & no respawn, so I'm guessing "rare!"

We've been having some issues with the data center that houses the server box. We're keeping an eye on them while they work on it, but unfortunately it's at the host level so all I can do right now is prod.

Totally off topic, but were any of you in the Cataclysm beta that are on the PTR?

I can not get onto the PTR, and everytime I try to logon it tells me to choose a server type and then I have to choose Development Realm because the Suggest Realm button is grayed out til I choose it, then I hit Suggest Realm... the realm list is empty...

Rumor has it that if you were on the beta the server is having a hard time distinguishing between the beta and PTR account. At first my beta account was "WoW1" and the PTR was "WoW2", but now both are "WoW1"...

I want to play around on the PTR too...

That's kinda what I figured. Had you watched the respawn timer on it, any idea what it is? Or are you going off the fact that the other two have silver portraits & they're a "three set" (kitty doesn't)?

Edit--I for one wasn't on the Beta, and haven't been having issues on PTR, just to add to your data pool

Kitty has a silver portrait too! I just tamed her, though, and didn't SS that part. >_< No clue on a timer, since they were only just found.

Wait....in the other SS, she doesn't. That's weird; I could have sworn she had it on the US PTR...

EDIT: I'm dumb; she does NOT have the silver dragon, but she IS definitely a rare spawn. The approximate spawn timer on all three seems to be around 3h or so.

I killed all 3 on the pvp realm to see what the re-spawn timer is like on each and if they would drop anything. I thought they might have dropped the fire, earth and water elemental non combat pets that were data-mined but never showed up but they dropped nothing at all. If it stays that way it will hopefully mean these will be easier to tame. I will check back every couple of hours to see what the re-spawn looks like.

Very nice finds! Especially the new hunched/glowing eyes cat skin.

It's hard to tell in the pics, but I'm guessing that Pogeyan is using TigerSkinBrown rather than LionessSkinGold? The skins are very similar, though the lioness one has a darker "mane". But the lioness skin also has quite a sharp change in darkness around the neck, forming a collar. TigerSkinBrown is more continuous.

I'm pretty sure it's the non-araga skin, yeah--it's a quite bright gold, no dark neck ring from what I saw.

These seem to re-spawn pretty quickly. I forgot to check on them after I killed them at the 2hr mark but I just went back at the 4hr mark and they were all re-spawned.

There is no wind spirit. Or if there is, it's not mentioned in the 'troll quest' that bears these three's names. I'm not sure which it is! ... but I flew circles around to see if there was another, and no sign of one.

Yeah, a few of us did on the US realms too. It just stands to reason that there will be one, but one wasn't mentioned.

Eee, the croc skin I have (and love), but now on a rare! Under normal circumstances I'd run out and tame that as soon as it goes live, but I just can't do that to my poor Khamen. He's been with me for a while now and I can't exchange him for a rare just to say I have the rare.

Maybe my heart's changed a little thanks to Naphthali. <3

Edit: Cool cat skin! I like that they're adding more of these hunched ones, they're really neat. Though I still love Nemaeus. /huggles Nemaeus

Ooooh. One more to add to the list of pets to tame on my second hunter (along with the lavender owl). Not fond of the gorilla and I already have a croc, but kitty's gorgeous.
