SV got screwed hardcore

SV is by far the most fluid spec when incorporated with focus. BM feels a little sloppy (haaate the new Kill Command) and I have yet to try the new MM.

I am just glad they toned down the SV nerf, it was a little too much.

I'm going to have to disagree. BM has the easiest and most simplistic rotation out of the three specs.

Hunter's Mark > Serpent Sting > Bestial Wrath > Kill Command > Arcane Shot > Steady Shot til you got focus for SS/KC/AS

That's it. Use Kill Command whenever it's up. Otherwise bounce between SS and AS. Bestial Wrath varies on hunters. I try to save it for big trash or bosses.

I personally wish that the KC proc that makes it like auto crit (or something i'm not too sure) would have a longer up time... as it is I struggle to get it off when it only has about 1.5 sec after cooldowns for me to use it... Granted I'm nowhere near perfect with timing/rotations, as I'm still levelling a bit, but with high HP elite mobs I try to practice this, and it always bites me in the arse.

Yeah, I'm sure once I get into dungeons and practice this a bit I'll get it down, but so far these movement heavy fights (like the Dragon with the World Pillar Fragment) keep me scrambling and my brain frazzled. Granted, I've been sick almost the entire week I've been leveling, so maybe being healthy will help too.

I would like it if BM was brought up to par - I love some of my exotic pets.
But, it feels weak to me, and I don't really like playing it because of that.

As for SV, I was often doing 10k in heroics, while a MUCH better geared warrior was doing 9k. I had very little gear. It was, frankly, a little OP.
The 15% is a blow, but it might help equalize it a little.
The lack of AOE is really bothering me though... Explosive trap only goes so far, and Multi-shot... stinks.

I wish MM would make a comeback. I loved MM... SV is fun enough, but it's not "my" spec.

I will admit...the lack of AoE really sucks...Multi-shot is almost not even worth it cause it takes so much focus.

I've found that I can only effectively aoe if I send in my Shale spider, he TSs them a bit, while under mend. I then hit TBW and drain all of my focus on multi shot. then place traps after I'm dry. Even then I have to feign a few times, and kite like a boss. I have to say, with the lack of AOE dmg/pet threat I seem to have increased my kiting abilities ten-fold. which is good.

It's the bebopping back and forth and still having the focus for KC every time it's up that messes me up. If it comes off CD and I don't have the focus to hit it right away, I freak. Trying to balance the focus while juggling the shots and CDs makes BM difficult for me (and ultimately ends up making me think I'm a bad hunter). I can and do devastate dmg meters in Surv and even MM if the conditions are right (I'm talking 20k burst dps, ~16k sustained), but I struggle to maintain even 6k with BM, single target, and I KNOW the spec isn't that bad. It's user error ._.

It would help if A: KC was brought off GCD, B: KC had a shorter CD time [5 seconds, over 6], and C: KC's procc would actually you know idk.... last perhaps for 10 seconds. It's really annoying to get continual errors of LOLZ CANT DO THAT YET STARFOX because target somehow became INVALID.

I have no idea wtf to do as an war. In 70 levels I have only learned two things.

Cozz, don't freak. Not the end of the world if you gotta throw a steady shot or two to get it up. More often than not, thats what will usually happen. No need to spazz cause you dont have it right away. Just gotta watch it a little. It's very easy. Only reason you're doing that much damage as SV is cause Blizzard made it kinda OP, no offense. Thats why it's getting balanced cause it shouldn't be doing so much more damage than the other specs.

Though on a good note for BM, currently in live, I've beaten Survival Hunters on bosses. On trash, they whoop me. But where it counts on the boss, I tower them in DPS. But this is just in BC content but still, it gives me self confidence that SV or MM is not better than BM as people like to claim it is. And no, it wasnt with an exotic pet either. Was with usually a fox, cat, or wolf.
