After years of off and on searching... I FINALLY snagged this lovely rare for my horde hunter's stables! The dreaded Sewer Beast of the Stormwind City canals!
(And without a single death might I add! Camoflage FTW!)
I think I'm still shaking like a leaf! ^.^

Wow. I remember reading about this earlier, how you wanted to tame the Sewer Beast, but wasn't expecting you to be able to pull it off. Especially on a lopsided server like Silver Hand.
So, congratulations! I like being wrong every now and then

Honestly, I'd decided to give this a try with the mindset of 'hope for the best and expect the worst'. After all, Horde is vastly outnumbered on my server and Stormwind is the preferred alliance hang out. I tagged along some water breathing potions, hopped on the zeppelin to Grom'gol, then flew along the shoreline all the way through Stranglethorn & Westfall until I hit the docks of Stormwind. From there I ascended until I could just barely make out the land below and positioned myself directly above the middle of Lake Stormwind. A click to dismount and a fall in camouflage later, and I was at the bottom of the lake. Swigged a water breathing potion and went on the hunt, staying to the middle of the canals, always in camouflage. Worked surprisingly well. Wasn't spotted by a guard and managed to avoid the odd ball ally in the water.
Started the hunt Saturday evening and found him today around 12:30 PM Server Time (2:30 PM Central Time) in the finger of the canal right before the Keep.

A bit nerve-wracking, but the best hunts always are. <3 When I found Karoma, I was so twitterpated that my poor husband nearly had to step in and help me tame it.

Heh, Silver Hand Horde isn't exactly a big demographic. I really should get Fellandesh going again with leveling on that server (once I get Aquiyand from 70 to 85 *cringes*), as it always is better when I have someone to talk to while mindlessly questing.

Anfitrite: Hello, my fellow Silver Hand comrade! Which side do you play on? Horde or Alliance?
Cialbi: Well, if and when you decide to level a toon on Silver Hand, just give me shout. I'd be glad to help you level up.

Thats a gorgeous screenie, makes me want a white croc too. I mainly play alliance so I often keep an eye out for the croc but since cata and the way SW has been reshaped I was totally convinced that the poor croc had been made extinct as the canals are so narrow and shallow now, which I really hate, I thought they were so much better when they were deep and you could never be sure what was lurking at the bottom, ahem I digress. Seeing one tamed and by a horde player no less is no mean feat so major gratz. Hehe I remember one time during BC when I kited the croc into the trade district of SW, so many people were all "wtf?! where did that come from???" good times.
