What's a good name for Humar?

Normally I don't have trouble naming my pets but I am totally stumped for Humar.

I generally like cute / fun names (eg Stabby the Crab, Snappy the Turtle, Elvis the (hound) Dog) but that doesn't seem to 'fit' for Humar. He's too regal.

I personally named my first one Aries, I have a feeling my horde hunters humar is probably named Aries as well, but I haven't been on her since Cata launch.
I've always seen Aries as being a fighter with black hair, black armor etc, probably due to the Hercules show. But alas...

Lajos (means famous warrior), Shadow, Ebon, Midnight, Eros,

I don't know which angle you are going for.

I usually go for God/Goddess names, any mythological figure or what not. But you can search names on http://www.babynames.com/ (they have a pet section too I believe) and search for meanings of names etc etc to get whatever you are looking for. (Hopefully)

Mine is named Nero. I have a bit of a colour theme with the names though, but like you I also felt he needed a majestic name.

I got him on my lowbie hunter last night. Her name is Gypsi, so I named Humar 'Romany' which is another name for gypsies.

That might not be any help. You were saying cutesy names, but you want a regal one as well? Simba? Mufasa?

Anything here maybe?

Hmm, tough one. 'Sablemane', perhaps? Sable is a black heraldic color; a more regal way of describing something as being black. Or at least I thought so.

In the cutesy category, there's Furball or Fuzzball.

Well when in doubt I tend to go for Hebrew or Arabic names -- I'm thinking "Melek" which means "King".

I named mine Jengi, which is a Forest Spirit in an African culture. It fits.

I named mine ZachQuinto. He was so hairy and pointy and dark... and sooo handsome.
But I had to let him go.

No room in my stables and his skin is easily attainable now that there's Pitch.

Now, insert my typical astronomy recommendation.
Regulus, Denebola and Algieba are all stars in Leo constellation, and all are decent pet names.
