Another Jadefang??? (A Jadefang Appreciation Thread)

My Squee is my favorite pet of all-time (jadefang).

~But I came to thinking, since I normally have Squee decked out for DPS spec (yes as a Tenacity Pet) since he's just THAT awesome, I wouldn't mind a Squee decked out in his secondary spec of fully Tank as well....

But! The problem is.... do I camp another Jadefang or do I just grab another color? I think ultimately I want another Green one since well being a Goblin I tend to enjoy the Green Pets more than others

I think I'm going to go for actually maybe 3 Jadefangs in my slots, One DPS, one Tank, one DPS/Tank hybrid. I should do that!

Then camp Jadefang one more time for the Shale Spider pet!

Can you give me an idea of Jadefang's respawn timer? I know when he was last killed, sat in the cave since the 6 hour mark and nothing : ( Now upto 14 hours since he was killed >_>

what i did is on a day that I knew i wouldn't be able to sit down and "play" play Warcraft, I parked my hunter up in the cave. I had time to sneak away and logon quick to check if he was up, and I just simply did that about 2 hours later, and then again about 2 hours later after that. Squee was just sitting there waiting for me to bring him home

I am going to do a similar strategy for getting more Squees. I think 2 of them should Suffice though (dps and tank)

Basically its generally about 6-24 hours. Usually I would guess 6-12, but no one really knows. Don't believe those people who say "oh its 9 hours each time because this one time at band camp yadda yadda yadda......"

I love my Jadefang (Jaderider) too...camped him twice. I think he's probably the easiest rare to camp...one spawn point and you have to have that daily to get to him. Saw him yesterday but the daily wasn't up so he was there for a long time.

If you like him alot, go for it! He respawned for me about 14 hours later.

But then again, you can never have too many Jadefangs amirite.

If you are trying to get hold of Jadefang, I recommend picking up the daily, then ignoring it. Come back on a day when it is no longer the daily but, while you still have the ability to get up there, and it should be much quieter.

Oh I have Jadefang already, I was mainly asking I guess if it would be weird to have 2 COMPLETELY different Jadefangs, one for DPS spec, and one for TANK spec.

It probably is weird, but then again Squee is just that amazing, he is the only pet i've ever had since Cata to never leave my active 5 slots. He's not been benched since I got him about a month ago

I wish to join the SQUEE fanclub as well. I <3 the green squee so much I had to get the minisquee to match. I like the purple one too but there's just something so bright and happy about the green that she's pretty much with me all the time.

She also has a special story behind her tame, so my Jadefang means a lot to me. Still kinda disappointed I can't name her Jade though. >< And it's not THAT weird. I only have one squee because I know at least a few folks want her/the minipet and my stables are filling fast...

The time frame I heard was 6-15 hours. All three of the spawns I saw were in that time frame; however, that doesn't mean it can't be longer.

I have to put in a vote for the underappreciated red shale spider. My Asterix is now my second-favourite tanking pet (after Daggoth, my green jorumgar), and I love how pretty she is. Who cares if she's common?

But, if your heart's set on another green Squee, go for it I wish you luck!

I think I like my green nails on a chalk board spider. Just got the mini pet 24 and a half hours after I tamed the mummy and they do look cute togeather. But damn, just feel sorry for anyone playing with sound on >.<

I was showing my friend how to reach Jadefang today, the cave was empty. After I blasted myself up there I was talking to my friend when NPC scan went of, the darn thing spawned behind me. A minor dilemma, I love my pink shale spider had no interest in the green skin … but am an avid non-combat pet, sorry Jadefang I’ll take good care of your baby for you. (Had one “oh $#%” moment when I realized it was my friend’s loot. But we got him blasted up there and he clicked on the body so I could loot it. Shoo!)

hehe The first time I did the dailies in there I had the bomb quest and was practicing how to get up there and jadefang spawned on me. I was 83 at the time so I didn't have to decide to tame or not to tame. I killed her and discovered it was my friend I was questing with's loot. So, after a frantic moment or two teaching her how to get up there, she auto looted and we found out it was BoP. It was all good though, she loves mini pets and I got mine a couple days later.

I love my yellow shale spider though and haven't gone back now that I'm 85.
