Green serpent summon animation up from the ground

I tamed a green serpent a couple weeks ago, and because of the cunning talent bug on mobility I have not used the pet really. However, just checking out pets I have in my stable, I pulled out the serpent and summoned it and it appears from the ground and comes up kind of like a worm out of burrow or something.

Just thought that was pretty cool, not sure if this is already known or not. I also have no idea if all serpents now do this, or just some of the newer skins added to the tame list with Cata.

Yep. All serpents do this, and they've done it for a while. I can't recall exactly where it was first happening, but I know it's been there since the start of TotC, since I'd bring my serpent in against the heroes battle for spell slowing.

Hee, yeah I love how serpents do that. I remember I discovered that almost exactly a year ago (during Velkyn's Humar camp). So it's been around at least that long. :3

The first time I noticed it was when the Cobra Hatchling minipet turned up.

I also noticed around the same time that some mobs spawn by crawling or digging out from underground!

That is really cool!!! I just never noticed on my cobra hatchling until you mentioned it.

I wish they fixed the burrowing animation on the non-Jormuger worms though.
