Re: Pokemon!
Let me see...I have,
Blue
Silverx2 (One doesn't save properly)
Gold
Heart Gold
And I might (Very big might cause I was really disappointed with Diamond/Pearl) get White (Maybe)
And I think that's it. Sad collection theses days. I used to have Ruby but I let my brother lend it to one of his friends and never got it back...oh well though cause I have the GBC and GBA emulators on my ipod and I have every Pokemon game that came out on the handhelds (except the DS of course) I even have a hacked one called Pokemon Frosty lol

Re: Pokemon!
I got pretty lucky getting Ghost... Went to go get the little Eevee in Goldenrod... First one.. Female. Serious nature (Not bad. .. But ironic. Ghost serious? HAH, YEAH RIGHT.) and a Mischevious characteristic (That's more like it!) And later I found out that her IVs were 'Couldn't be better' for.. Special Attack. So basically, she was just about perfect. What are the chances of that? XD
Speaking of that... So, I have this new Worgen character that I've been playing.. I was trying to find a name for her with the in-game random name generator... One of the names it came up with was... You guessed it; 'Solara' XDAzunara wrote: And if you're ever looking for a name for that Espeon....*looks around shiftily.*
Re: Pokemon!
A name for the espeon would be nice. if your thinking of solara though I might edit it abit just because it'll feel abit odd to me
mine apperantly has a lax nature and its strongly defiant

O_o
What is Blizz doing using my espeon's name? I CLAIM COPYRIGHT. MY NAME BLIZZ. GO AWAY. *hisses.*
...Did you take it? Or was it taken?
Strongly defiant fits Sol pretty well. Or if you don't want to use Sol, Lyra would also work. >.>;

Okay wait...can someone please explain to me what EV training is. I've seen it around the net a few times and (kinda) looked it up to see how it works but I think that the person who was explaining it was high or something cause it didn't make much since to me lol

Re: Pokemon!
Umbreons are better =P
I mean, sure, Espeon has a heck of a lot of Special Attack, but see any Fighting type attack besides Hidden Power? And heck, even Signal Beam doesn't do much to Umbreon thanks to its HOLYFREAKIN'SPECIALDEFENSE. That and Umbreon can easily defeat an Espeon. Yay for Type advantages! XD
And yes, I am biased. *Huggles Ghost*

Re: Pokemon!
I REALLY hope there will be a Ghost type Eeveelution!!! *Wantwantwant*
But then... What would I do with Ghost? The initial reason she was an Umbreon was because it was the closest to a Ghost type.. Hence why she's a Delta Species. ... What would I do if there was a Ghost type Eeveelution? D: D: D:

Hah, I actually had that idea a while ago.. Scrapped it, though. Hm. I'll have to figure out what I'd do if there was indeed a Ghost type Eeveelution...

Re: Pokemon!
For a shorter version: EVs are basically hidden experience points for increasing your stats. Each and every pokemon has a hidden EV value between 1 and 3 for either one or, more rarely two stats. If you defeat that pokemon in battle, you get however many EV points that pokemon has as it's EV value. Once your pokemon gets a certain number in that EV stat, the stat of the pokemon earning pints will go up.Senna-Umbreon wrote:http://www.serebii.net/games/evs.shtml or http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/EVKynraWindrunner wrote:Okay wait...can someone please explain to me what EV training is. It's essencially a way of min-maxing your pokemon, and unless you're obsessive about having a great team, or planning on Wi-Fi battling/Battle Fronter-ing it's not really necissary.
IVs, on the other hand, give me a headache. I understand them, but I don't worry about whether they make my pokemon awesome or not.
Btw, Vaporeons are so much cooler. >.>
They have ice beam and everything. Hell they can melt into water, how awesome is that?
(In actual truth, vaporeons are not my favourite of the Eeveelutions. Hell, up until I made Venin, they were one of my least favourite. >.> )
In reguards to more Eeveelutions, I found this pic. I do like a number of the eeveelutions presented here.

Re: Pokemon!
Hehe, to be honest. Flareon wasn't exactly my favourite for a while. After fiddling with Phantom as a character for a bit? Gah, I love Flareons now. Totally my second favourite Eeveelution <3Moonlost wrote: Btw, Vaporeons are so much cooler. >.>

Re: Pokemon!
Yeah, vaporeon has definately netted some awesome points after RPing with Venin... and trying one out in game. XD
Hard to pick down my personal fave Eeveelution though... Hmm, I'd have to say it's tied between Jolteon and Umbreon. Jolteon has always been one of my favourites, and even though I've never really played with an Umbreon before now, I have always thought their design was awesome.
I pretty much love all the eeveelutions though... Well, with maybe the exception of Glaceon. Sorry Summer, I just can't get over those wierd hair whisker dangly thingies. D:

Re: Pokemon!
So pretty. *blinks, amazed.*
And...Espeons and umbreons were always my favorites. I never figured out how to get one (Couldn't, really, with the games I had.) but when the RP started, I figured I'd create an espeon/umbreon pair. Why not? At the time, I didn't even realize their names worked with their typings. I just kinda knew Shadwyn would be the umbreon and made up Sol's name. Days later, I look at it at went..."Dude. Shadwyn = Umbreon = Dark. Solara = Espeon = Sun! O_o"
When I got my hands on SS, I knew I had to get an espeon. Nothing would stop me.
