For Mania - New pets in patch 4.0.6

One I see that is missing is the Swarming Guardian from Ulduar. These are tameable, and a hunched panther skin. There was a thread on them earlier, but I can't recall where it is.

A couple pet levels that need to be adjusted, from the PTR:

The Evalcharr is level 19 (a considerable drop!)
Deathmaw is level 51
Broken Tooth is level 47
Barnabus is level 46
Araga is level 24 (and is actually in Hillsbrad Foothills; Hillsbrad and Alterac have been fused into one zone)
Bayne is level 8
Ressan The Needler is level 9
Sri'skulk is level 10
Timber is level 5
Bjarn is level 8
Mother Fang is level 9

Updating as I come across them and see changes needing to be made.

Gyreworms are turning into Elementals in the next patch, so I think it's safe to say Blizzard has no plans of making them tameable.

Gyreworms are all being flagged as elementals in 4.0.6, so we won't have to worry about them becoming tamable for the forseeable future.

Its weird that they're letting us have the Shale Spiders, which (for all intensive purposes) are also elementals.

For anyone interested, it may be old news, but Smolderos ( red core hound lvl 82 elete on Mt Hyjal) is tamable, but not listed on Petopia. However I suggest you take one or more healers along or just use a freeze trap. And I assume he (or she) is an Exotic as all core hounds seem to be, so Beast Master talent is required. Very pretty if you like horrible two headed dogs. I tend to cats (or purple) but this is a nice pet.

i didn't see this in with the group of Hunched cats, but the ones in Ulduar are tameable, not sure if they are on the PTR. Here is a screenshot.

Deathmaw needs to be updated with the Dark Brown Worg skin

instead of the Brown one.

It looks like nobody mentioned the fact that Mining Monkeys are losing their picks: http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8634

It looks like previously tamed ones also lose their picks.

So all base monkey colours are now tameable as stable colours.

Tamed monkeys with picks will no longer exist, even as legacy pets.

Looks like sporebats are getting a bit of a buff in 4.0.6:

Spore Cloud (Sporebat) now has a 8 sec cooldown, down from 12 sec. Now reduces the casting speed of all enemy targets within 6 yards by 30% for 10 sec, up from 25% for 9 sec.

Not sure if its the same as vemon web spray or regular web. Will have to find out.

It hasn't been mentioned in this thread before, but it has been in other threads. ^_^

Web Wrap is a 3s stun on a 45s cooldown. Wowhead page is here.

I am confused from seeing alot of posting is 4.0.6 out yet?

No, it's on Release for PTR but there's another build yet thats not been deployed for whatever reason. Next week looks like it'll go onto Live though till next Monday no way of knowing.
