Finishing up my stable

Unread post by Areon »

Ok, well I currently have these pets:

For Tanking cause he already looks like he has been through his share of battles: Image

For PvP since I just like the creepy look of him: Image

For Raiding since well its a wolf and my guild expects the best: Image

Just pure bragging since I'm the only person in my guild who has him: Image

Now I mainly run around in my Suv spec as I can pretty much pull all but my SB out and use them while still having the spec I use the most out as well. But I have two things bugging me, I'm wanting to change the skin on my wolf but not really into the northrend skins, and also wanting to fill my last stable slot with another pet for the others to play with. So any Ideas? I really want to try and go for a wolf skin not many use one thats kinda rare and hard to get and it stands out, and same with the last slot, one that would be fun to run around with doing random stuff from mining or exploring or just out and out being random.

So many options! :D

Hehe, as for a new wolf skin, my personal vote goes to the Red Worg:
Image

They seem to be incredibly rare despite having an absolutely gorgeous coloration. I'm really fond of the reddish fur, and the green eyes stand out.

Now, about your last spot, here's just a few suggestions. ^^

Image Perhaps an Owl? The jade one is a very unique appearance and surprisingly I don't see many of them around.

Image Serpents also seem to be a bit under appreciated, but they have some wonderful skins and a great summoning animation (they slither up out of the ground)

Image Have you ever considered a Tallstrider? I never used to give them even a glance, but I recently tamed the purple one and I fell in love with it. :) They're not as useless as they were back in the day, and they have a lot of personality.

Image There's also Wasps which are pretty awesome looking pets. You can go for this neat blue skin or one of the firefly ones.

I'm liking the owl since I don't have any flying pets and it seems that I should have atleast one in my stable. And I like the worg look, so thanks alot, and now i've been given a goal as I finish up getting the explorer title while I farm for my trinket ^^

Wind serphants are always cool and do good dps, nuramoc is another favorite of mine but you already have a pvp pet.

If you looking for an new uncommon wolf skin, i like old cliff jumper, im the only one on my server ive seen with him and i love him to peices!

For a wolf, I personally don't like the bigger vanilla-wow wolf models. I've always liked the smaller ones so I suggest one of these:

The prairie wolf from Mulgore also barks when you click on it, which is pretty cool! :D

The rest of my suggestions are all flying creatures since you don't have any yet -

Aotona is both pretty and would be a neat "trophy" pet!:

I have always liked windserpents, and I think the black one is one of the prettiest. If I ever see a windserpent nowadays (which is rarely), it's almost always an Outland model. The vanilla wow models seem to be pretty rare:

Outland carrion birds are the best-looking in the game, in my opinion. I had the brown model for a long time until he got replaced by a devilsaur. But I still love them and if Blizz ever gives us more stable slots, he may just find his way back in my stable. Trachela is very pretty, though (she just didn't match my hunter which is why I didn't get her):

Lastly, the moths are pretty uncommon on my server. This white one is cool because it looks like the little white moths that come around my house here in Ohio. They're so fuzzy and cute! Moths have a nice family ability, too, so they'd be useful just about anywhere you go!

Flying pets, I vote dragonhawk. Powerful and beautiful. Not too shabby in PvP either, or PvE. My blood elf does awesome with one.

Wolf, I recommend the diseased one. It looks more or less unique, and would compliment your diseased bear.

I would love to recommend a tallstrider. They're the kind of pets you can surprise people with since their unique colors are more than enough to go for and they are unexpectedly good in raids. Plus, their Dust Cloud ability is a good ability. 100% foolproof.
