Theorycrafting: Lightning Breath

Unread post by Saturo »

Anyone know what the AP-coefficient on this is? If it's what I think it is, or higher, then PvE Wind Serpents may not be far away. Basically, I'm working on PvE specs for various worthwhile Cunning pets. By worthwhile I mean the ones with a chance to make it onto a top ten PvE pets list. But basically, anyone know what the AP-coefficient is?

Oof. I'm not sure. Lightning Breath is one of those funny ones like Spirit Strike, isn't it, because it's magical rather than a physical attack?

Surely some site out there has those coefficients...have you checked warcrafthuntersunion or maybe the hunting lodge?

I honestly have no idea, but I often use my Windserpent in my raids and randoms, and honestly haven't seen a difference from my wolf, cat or Wasp(unless there's no Faerie) so numberwise, no idea, but they are very decent. I'd say that any worthwhile cunning pets would be in this list, well actually, basically I'd say alot of them look decent based on ability except the spider and bat, and maybe BofP.

Ive checked EJ, without any success. Wowwiki doesn't have this info either.
I guess it's obvious why EJ doesn't have it, they are "If you dont have a wolf, you can just jump into some hole and die". But Wowwiki should have it, shouldn't they?

And yes, it's a magical attack. Which is why it's so great. It doesn't benefit from SP however, nonpet spells do. It's simple AP.

You might check Warcraft Hunters Union and see if Frostheim has it there, or the Hunting Lodge (I think that's the name of the site) and see if they have it up there. I don't think TKASomething would have it, but you could always poke around the site and have a looksee.
