No Madexx for me yet ;( RL stuff pulled me away from Celi's camp spot and I must have missed him. Im giving up for the moment and for some strange reason want to roll a goblin hunter. My husband just looked me and actually had no comment. lol. This newbie will be my fourth hunter, first two were alliance and were made before transferring was ever dreamed of, and my main which hit 85 two weeks ago is my beloved horde, Valfreya on Blackrock. Im actually excited about what I can rehunt, all those rares ahead of me will relieve my boredom. yay!

LOL I dont blame you at all! Im sick of the place and I dont even have him yet. I rolled a little goblin hunter over on Nesingwary. Thought I might join up with the petopian crew and see how the server is there. My toons name is Peppiepixel if you want to find me or if you need any help finding another rare lol.

ugh, This hunt... been two weeks and not one sighting. And now real life been slowly picking up so I can't do anymore of the hardcore camping I did in the beginning.

Guess I'm just going to bite down and grab the cheap version and make swing bys hopping to find him up.

And it comes full circle...

Yesterday while farming in Uldum, up pops brown Madexx! So I check in zone, only one other hunter, and he's not interested. Then I say in general for anyone with hunter alts that want him to swap and get to where I was, and I also whispered a few hunters on my friends list. One of the guys on the friends list answered first, and he starts coming over. I had to to the freeze trap to hold him several times, but he got over there just before another guy showed up.

I was glad to help another hunter get what I've been chasing for a while.. and he seemed happy with brown.

(I also noticed that I need to make a distracting shot macro. My autoshot kept firing after distracting shot.)

Does anyone have a clear indication of his respawn? I have the green one, and found him again today and managed to find him a home (or her) but I'd really like to get a shot at a different color.

I've seen it at 24 hours, but also less, so.. With the multiple spawn points, it's hard to say for sure.

Is it 24 hours per color, but maybe at stagerred points in time? Because it seems people are finding multiple colors in less than 24 hours.

Well, 6 to 24, random on color and the spawn point. And with tames under 10 seconds, he could pop, get tamed, and be gone before you get around to the point again.

I heard somewhere that in the next patch, Madexx's colors will be changing. I was told the blue will become green and the bronze will turn red. Or something like that...

A source that knows someone on the PTR told him this. I can't figure out if he's pulling my leg or not. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I don't want to lose my bronze and blue ones that I've already tamed... :/

That is a mistake on PTR. It has already been confirmed by a dev that existing Madexx tames won't be changing colors.

Finally tamed the red one. I have the Bronze one but was looking for the Red, Black or Blue one.

So does that mean after this next patch that the Blue Madexx will not be a rare spawn? Or are they just changing the other scorpids in the area?

28 Days of Camping for the Blue madexx. No sight of him, but I have the other 4 colors and given away multiples to new homes :/
