Sadly, things still aren't working out so well for Kirottu and I. I don't know why, but I'm just not feeling it with him. I've been trying to use him, I like the story I made for him, but I almost feel forced to like him because of that story. I don't think it's happening. Feeling down, I actually quested for quite a while without any pet at all. My brother got busy doing something so I had a bit of free time to go look around, so I decided to see if Shadowclaw was up, and he wasn't. Or, at least, I couldn't find him. I ran all over that little piece of land looking for him. Anyhow, I couldn't find him, so my brother and I picked back up on our questing. We came to the part where you have to "peacefully" acquire a few different animal-derived ingredients to make an incense. It's for that quest where you get to pick an animal spirit to help you (in Darkshore, of course). So we're plucking Moonstalker whiskers when all of a sudden, my brother runs right into Shadowclaw! Wow, that kitty's pretty big in the wild, much bigger than I expected. He started attacking him, so I had to shoot him a couple times to pull aggro, and he was mine!!! I named him Shando, which I found on wowwiki as one of a few random words that generate when you type a six-letter word. His "common" given name (as in, not mob name) is Shadow, so in Darnassian it's Shando.
My brother logged for the night, and I figured I'd go grab a moth since I've never tried one before. I hoofed my way to Bloodmyst Isle and finally found a Royal Blue Flutterer, and tamed it. As soon as it floated by my side...wow. This moth is absolutely stunning. I love her! I mean, reeeeally love her. She's just so pleasant to look at, it almost puts me in a trance or something. I'm only level 18 so she doesn't have her special yet, and I know it's not really gonna be all that helpful when questing, but I don't really feel like that's a big deal when I'm always questing with someone else and we probably won't be doing many dungeons.
These two are definitely my favorites in my stables thus far. Unfortunately I think I can only keep one of them active until I get my third call pet skill, just in case I find something else I simply must tame.
Thanks for reading!
