Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places

This is my story of accidental love that wan't really ment to be...

It all started a long long time ago, back in TBC. Questing as a priest in Blade's Edge I happened across a wild beast that I hated everything about. The way it walked, the way it carried it's self, even the fancy move it came with that was annoying in pvp, the worst part was that ugly color. HATE!

Fast forward to Cata:

Now I have a hunter for fun, it's nice to have a companion at your side that won't QQ about a long queue or a bad tank. I decide to venture back out to Outlands, in search of that perfect pet, cats, corehounds, foxes, nothing really sticks. I find a moth thats glowy and green, pretty as long as it doesn't die. Oh! Blade's Edge! Lets check out the boars! And then he appeared, from amungst the boars, but there was something different. Where was the hate I once felt? On a whim, I tame. But the color...ick, abandon. A week later, it's bugging me, why can't I get this pet off my mind, there are many new colors now, why this ugly one? I'll try again, tamed, the way it walks, ick... abandon. A few weeks go by, been busy raiding on my priest. Again, the curiousity hits, what is with this horrible beast, why can't I forget it and leave it? One more time I go out and give him another shot. Hearth back to Org and let him follow around while I troll the ah, do some dailies. Then it hits me, I am in love. I have never felt so much for a pet. Now that ugly red, it reminds me of Valentine's and love, the way it walks, charms me, the way it sniffs the air, makes me smile.

I never thought I could like a warp stalker but love has proved me wrong.

I was the same way with the wasps, but Huhuran and Ayamiss seemed to have pulled me in.
I didn't enjoy the sound their wings made, but Huhu's color just ... made my heart melt.

Great story!! Amazing how it works that way huh! There are a few of us with these types of stories. Falling in love with something we never expected to. Awesome!
