Long story short, i really wanted a disarming pet and after trying many bird of preys which i never grew too much attached to (i would love to have tamable ravens like the critters in the worgen starting area or in Stonetalon...but i guess they would make more sense as carrion birds anyway) i decided to go on and try a scorpid.
The one who caught my attention was, of course, the awesome looking aracnid known as Madexx and i particularly liked the black or green model.
My hunt began days ago, at first without great success until one night at around 2 am Madexx appeared to me in his red colouration.
At first i though "oh well what should i do?", asked a guildie if she wanted to come and tame it but she declined because she hates bugs of any sort, i looked for other hunters in the zone but the only one who answered me said he didn't want it.
I decided then to just tame it myself and be happy about it but sadly it didn't go so well.
After i started my tame a blood elf came down from his mount and killed both me and Madexx itself, this is the bad thing about playing on a pvp server i guess.
I kept on hunting hoping that maybe that pet wasn't meant for me and a black or green Madexx would appear next time.
After three days of no luck he appeared red again but sadly it was being killed by a priest, felt sad about it.
Found it again the day after and in his green (!) colour, sadly it was already dead, same thing happened two days after but it was red again.
I was starting to think that only red madexx actually exists since he was so stubbornly appearing to me mostly in that colour when i was around.
After losing a bit of hope i kept on checking his spawn zone much less than before until the other day, after coming out of a random heroic he literally spawned on me!
And Red again (!!!), so i just accepted that Red Madexx has probably a liking for me on some sort and tamed straight away, in the end i think it probably doesn't look as bad as i though and i'm starting to like it more, the little scorpid seems quite happy and cheery aswell.
I guess one can't really choose his/her Madexx, instead Madexx CHOOSES YOU!
