Terrorpene Camp! - UPDATE!

Just dinged 81 and I'm off to camp Terrorpene. Wish me luck! I already have his name picked out -- Dormammu.

So far no sign of him. My priest friend, Lucas, is gonna help me camp him.

Lol! I saw an orc fly over me, lvl 85. When and if I get him, I'll send you the time then. <3 I know I PMed you my real ID so we could talk. We seem to bump into each other a lot. XD

I'm debating if I should use my fire resist gear or just go with what I've got.

My setup is gonna be somethin like this:

Immo Trap > Earthen Potion > Elixir of Speed > Deterrence > Tame

At 81, I'd play it safe and bring some fire resist gear, or a potion, or something. I know there are a lot of stories of dying/running back in time but I'd really rather not risk it, imo, especially on a server as busy as MG.

Alright. In my Fire resist gear that I got, I dropped from 35k to 29k in Health. My Fire Resistance is at 213(32% Resist) so I think I should be good.

Eeek, sorry about that. Was giving the whole oiled wolf glitch tame thing a shot. Didn't work, unsurprisingly. :P

The drop in health concerns me a little bit, but I guess you'd have to see how hard he hits before you could really do anything.

Good luck with the tame Taluwen! I just tamed him a few hours ago after a 3 day camp, lol. It was all worth it. At 83, I just used Prismatic Elixir and Gift of Naaru the second I rez'd from dying the first time by Terrorpene's hands/claws hehehe.

5 hours and still nada.

w00t! Terrorpene was tamed just now at 5:36am server(6:36am my time)! The fire resist gear, even though it cut my stam, really helped as did the haste. I changed my tactic a bit.

I used fire resist gear which consisted of Vindicator Tunic of Fire Prot.(Chest), Unyielding Helm of Fire Prot.(Head), Sundered Spaulders of Fire Prot.(Shoulders), Shoveltusk Greaves of Fire Prot.(Feet), Ulduar Gauntlets of Fire Prot.(Gloves), and Ulduar Bracers of Fire Prot.(Bracers) which brought me up to about 303 Fire Resist(41%). Keep in mind, fire resistance is quadrupled when Terrorpene shoots at you so I probably had nearly 80% resistance thanks to that little tidbit.

So with said gear, I also used the following: Baked Manta Ray(increases haste by 30), Ancient Hysteria(My corehound, Bronx provided this. Increases spell casting/ranged/melee speed by 30%), Potion of Speed(Increases haste by 500 for 15 sec.), and Prismatic Elixir(Magic Resist by 90 for 1 hr.). I also used Lifeblood for a tiny bit of heals for good measure, which you get from Herbalism.

So here's how it went down...

Lucas stuck around til about 4:00am server. He had to get up early but yanno I thanked him. He got some stuff for me from the AH such as the Prismatic Elixir and the Manta Ray. So I was dozing every half hour or so. 5:35am rolls around and not only is NPCScan blaring at me, my alarm is too(Love & Joy), which I found rather amusing and ironic inbetween the fact of me going "ohshitohshitohshit!" So I ate my baked ray, pulled Bronx out, popped Ancient Hysteria, popped prismatic elixir, used Lifeblood, popped the Speed pot and used Deterence and Tame....oh wait....forgot to dismiss Bronx....so in my scramble, I'm trying tofind the dismiss button....xD Deterence wore off by the time I found it but everything else was still ticking. I finally dismissed him and hit tame. I saw my health start to drop. My health, since the fire resist gear didnt have the stam, was about 29k. I dropped to 19k and suddenly there was a yellow light and an angry turtle by my side! I was going "OMGYAY!!!!" Dormammu is now mine! ^.^

Yush! I was Away a few times but I made sure to wiggle myself every 15 - 30 minutes. Naps are awesome. Currently now I'm having my other pets catch up though i may keep him tucked away til I go to Vashjir cause I dont wanna set off other hunters NPC Scans. I know Blazewing went off earlier that evening but he was dead when I got to him.

I'm a rare hunter. :3 I love me some rares and Jessi's gonna be my 2nd 85 and she's gonna be my ranged raider while my druid covers the melee.

haha! didja bring me any marshmellows from that flame or did Deathwing eat them too? He's been known to steal them.......baha....Seems on Moon Guard, he hits Twilight Highlands very often...like daily...
