Has anyone else seen this????

Just tamed him and he stays on the ground till I move. Even when being fed.

He looks like he has to pee. Badly.

All joking aside, probably a graphics glitch. Have you tried relogging and seeing if that fixes it?

The jade owls have been reported to do this as many perch somewhere in the wild while still. I don't think any other owls will do that though.

Someone had the same thing happen with a Rustberg Gull. Apparently dismissing/resummoning made it stop the perching animation, though.

That is one of the cutest things I've ever seen in the game, glitch or not. I wish all flying pets could land.

Agreed! If they did, I'd be hard-pressed to not get Icarus back.

Yeah I posted about this right after release I think. If you dismiss and re-summon him he'll go back to normal.

lol looks like he is lost in thought- feeling grass between his toes for the first time. mine did the same thing when i first tamed him. (although mine usualy flopped over on his back or buryed himself in the ground) but it eventualy whent away. not sure what fixed mine. death, dissmissing, logging out, stabling ect ect whatever it was i just brought him out one day and he decided to stop draging his feet and throwing a fit every time i stopped moving =P its cool that yours actualy stands up though.

I too had the same thing with a Rustburg gull, and truthfully I kinda wish he kept his standing on the ground animation! It's a lot more amusing than having them flap in place next to your head. At least to me.
