Madexx comedy... My personal diary.

I haven't started a thread for a week or so, so I figure me starting yet another Pent vs. Madexx thread will be fine for now.

So... most of you know my Madexx journey....

Dec.18th - Hunt begins for a green Madexx.
Dec.20-ish - See a green Madexx... Undead rogue attacks before i can get to it... rogue refuses money because he thought it dropped a mount. Green Madexx dies.
Dec.30-ish - Brown Madexx (least wanted) spawns in my face. Brown Madexx tamed anyway.
Jan.20-ish - I come across a Black Madexx that had just spawned. Black Madexx tamed.
Jan.21-ish - Another Black spawned. No one was around that wanted it, and I was headed to work. Black Madexx killed for spawn time.
Jan.22-ish - Another Brown spawn. No one around that wanted the brown color. Brown Madexx tamed (again).
Jan.22-ish - Red spawned. Red tamed.
Jan.24-ish - Another red. No 84+ hunter in area, and I had an opposing faction warrior wanting me to get away from it so he could kill it... so I just tamed it to get the time. (Thank you to the NE Warrior who didn't attack it, but kept shoo-ing me away, heh.)

So that brings me to today... I have been over on Nesingwary leveling my baby Goblin hunter, and I had just came back inside from shoveling snow. Thought I would log on to my Madexx camper hunter to have a looksie...

So now I have every single color EXCEPT green.

Madexx is a very cruel scorpion.

Heh, atleast you have different colours besides Brown; be thankful. People like myself can only get brown, and it really, really sucks. -_-

I could have, I guess... but usually I don't read threads that I know are older... so I figure that others do the same thing.

If I get lucky with a green one spawning or something I'll try to remember to just update this one with a new title.

Aww, what's wrong with bronze/brown?

I love my bronze to bits, but I know where you're coming from. My best friend got blue this morning, the color she wanted most with only three days of looking. I... was upset about it, which frustrated me, because I wanted to be happy for her, but part of me wouldn't let me since it'd taken me half a month of looking before I gave up, then he spawned in the color I least wanted at the time while she had such awesome luck. I still feel really rotten about it. ._.

I dont know honestly, I guess its mainly because time next patch its becoming a Common Mob and there are other scorpids out there id rather have besides the Brown Mad.

@Socks - Thank you, and I understand that completely, believe me but you'll always know who yours is, but I hope that you'll be able to find him in another color someday soon. I'm gonna ask her to let me see the blue one again when I'm not about to fall apart at the seams like I did this morning. x_x

He just happened to pop up when I was in Uldum so I said "what the hell. /tame"
I wanted blue... D: but green chose me.
A guildie made me name him Spaghetti.

Stop torturing this poor soul and be green already, man! He/she's the one that brought bronze you to me in the first place, after all!

I wanted green for Toph originally, too, but now, thinking of this scorpid in any other color but bronze beside her doesn't feel right to me now.

Madexx is a cruel scorpion although I have had two different colors spawn, three if you count the PTR on the PTR I have black and red, on live I have black and blue, so the black one really likes me.. The other colors not so much. I really want red and green then my stables for this character will finally be complete.. I think anyways.. Lol the hunt never ends ..hehe

Nothing. It's the only color I was interested in, and thankfully it's the one I found.

But honestly, even before we knew it was going to be a common spawn, it was one of the least popular colors. Many people feel a need to have a flashy pet. I prefer actually being able to sneak up on my prey, myself

I shall likely be after brown Madexx or the common version on Kallimon unless he comes to me in a different color and that's meant to be. (But really, I think brown is the one.)

If you are actively camping, then you will probably get it first.

I have only been logging in to that hunter at weird times, but that seems to bring the best results.

Same thing happened to me with a Green. I tried using him, I just don't click with scorpions though. I wish I could give him away since I'll probably release him to make stable room soon
